1979 IFMAR WORLDS GENEVA SWITZERLAND
(remastered 8mm footage 50 fps with English voice over based on German race report)
This 1979 Worlds video was published on my FaceBook some 3 years ago but it could do with an update: add a voice over! Some time ago I received images of a report in AMT, the German Auto Modell Technik magazine, one of the first in Europe to cover all the Euro's and World Championship races! As before, the voice over is not synchronized with the video, but it tells the story of what happened at the second Worlds 1:8 nitro on-road.
Of course I never envisioned back in 1979 how my 8mm films of all these r/c events, would be published through internet 50 years later, for rc r...
