The Power of No-Code
США
Добавлен 15 дек 2021
Technology, digital services, and digital systems have a great impact on our lives and on our future. On everybody's future. It is so important the we cannot afford not to be part of this, the most impactful system shaping human life that history has seen.
Yet, people of color and women are woefully underrepresented in this space.
The POWER OF NO-CODE is my attempt to surface things other than gaining coding skills as tool set that can help accelerate diversity, equity and inclusion in the digital culture.
A lot of attention is being placed on coding skills as the gateway to digital equity. Yet, that word alone, coding, paints a picture of high bars and lengthy trips towards inclusion, and many see themselves as unable to participate because of lack of skills, lack of time, or lack of interest.
I say the Low-Code/No-Code platforms ARE an alternate on ramp to digital. This channel focuses on sharing conversations and skills development efforts leading to a empowered participation.

{no-code}.Power: Program Kick-off [Draft]
This is one of the only tutorials i could find that showed accurately how to pull attachments over from a sharepoint vs. onedrive! Thank you!
What if we want to rank them based on number of votes?
I used this tutorial but only for one attachment and it worked perfectly. Thank you so so much! It took me forever to find a tutorial for a Groups form in the sea of all the individual form tutorials :)!
thanks for the Tutorial, it finally worked. But i had a issue with adding Attachments: The simple solution was a setting in the List: settings/list settings/advanced settings/ attachments this needs to be enabled, it was disabled as standard and was the solution why it wouldnt attach my file to the list
The submission time in List shows it is 4 hours ahead of the actual time. How do I correct it so that the submission time matches the current time?
Thank you for breaking down the steps.
This was so helpful! My flow run was successful, however the document doesn't appear as an attachment in the 'attachments' column in my sharepoint list. I've triple checked everything and can't see any mistakes in my expressions etc. Why do you think this might be?
Never mind - I realised I had used 'Documents/' in my file path instead of 'Shared Documents/'
Nice tutorial
Very useful content, thank you!
Even though I used the command in the video, I still couldn't get any output. The error point is "I can't create a presentation from this file while you're using this account. Log into a work or school account, or copy and paste text from another document into our chat, and ask me to rewrite or design it." can you help me?
This was SO helpful, thank you!!!!!
Glad it was helpful!
Many thanks for this. There's one problem though. My flow produces for each submission two records in the SharePoint List. Do you know what could be the reason for this?
Resolved. I had two flows running in parallel.
Good job, Thanks Dr.
Wow! Exactly what I’ve been searching for. Many thanks
Glad it was helpful!
How did you connect the two sharepoints? I tried to view documents in a sharepoint library and giving 'likes' to the documents which is to be collected as 'votes' in a sharepoint list but the function/formula for the 'like' icon does not work.
You use the Ideas ID for the record and create a vote list that has a record that matches the ID and filter on that.
@@thepowerofno-code3119 I quite do not understand what you mean. Can you please explain in different term? I had my sharepoint document, with and ID column. Then I created another sharepoint list (votes list), with a column as 'ID'. How do i ensure the patch command from the 'onselect' property from 'like' icon from sharepoint document database connects to the 'votes list' to collect the votes? It feels these to data sources are not connected and I do not understand it at the moment.
This is such great piece you have created. Up till I watched this video, I never knew this was possible. Thank you.
Glad I could help!
My flow keeps failing at the get file content action. I followed all the steps, what could be causing the failure?
Hmm. Let me re run it on my side. See if I can ferret something out for you
If you do not have the trailing slash at the end of the shared documents/*/*/*/ or whatever it fails.
Great vid, thanks for this, really helpful.
Thx
Very nice video
