Hi Sam, thank you for connecting with us. As much as I'd love to recommend the monsoon because the Ghats are absolutely beautiful and creates a tonne of waterfalls all around, I would still recommend the months of October - November. The rains can persist for days at times during the rainy season and can ruin precious travel time. India does have a range of seasons and landscape changes greatly from season to season. If you have limited time for travel, then October - November is a safe bet. The temperature does reduce during this period and the weather is more favourable. You can also visit northern India and the Himalayas too. That is yet another magnificent sight to behold. You can check the latest video on my channel and other to catch a glimpse. (Sorry again for the content being in Hindi and we need to figure out a mechanism for the subtitles).

In October you'd still be able to see some of the waterfalls, but in February it is almost dry; until the next monsoon.
