Parts become obsolete after a period of time, maintenance costs to maintain old equipment become more expensive over time. Think of an old car you’re maintaining. Same concept, sometimes its harder to get replacement parts.

The Legacy Fleet’s technology was very out of date. The cars had no air conditioning. They became prone to breakdowns and delays in their later years of service. And even in human years, 52 years of life is not young!

Thanks. This video was also indeed inspired by those Mario Kart animations. Admittedly I kinda got lazy with the wheel spinning in the video. Just cuz I felt the production of this project was kinda taking longer than I expected due to stuff happening in my personal life. But I will take your advice on my next big project. Thanks.
