Building settlements without MODS in Fallout 4 on my Xbox Series S
Fallout 4 The Slog Settlement Build Tour (No Mods)
This settlement wasn't as challenging as I initially thought it was going to be however, with that said, it took a while to figure out the layout. Built over or around objects that could not be moved, enjoy the tour!

Fallout 4 Tenpines Bluff Settlement Build Tour (No Mods)

Began at the highest elevation, building downwards while using the landscape as much as possible & made an effort to keep caravan routes unobstructed. Built over or around objects that could not be moved, enjoy the tour!
Fallout 4 County Crossing Settlement Build Tour (No Mods)

Great settlement to build, loads of potential the only caveat in this case was the Automatron that attacked & was too heavy to move once killed. As always, built over or around items that couldn't be removed, no mods. Enjoy the tour!
Fallout 4 Outpost Zimonja Settlement Build Tour (No Mods)
Просмотров 5 тыс.Год назад
Surprisingly not that bad of a settlement to build. There were some challenges like the un-scrapable staircase leading to nowhere & the weird cut off of the build zone by the rocks. As always, built over or around items that couldn't be removed, no mods. Enjoy the tour!
Fallout 4 Coastal Cottage Settlement Build Tour (No Mods)

There were so many obstacles with this settlement, I'm just glad its' over. Built over or around items that couldn't be removed, no mods. Enjoy the tour!
Fallout 4 Murkwater Construction Settlement Build Tour (No Mods)
Просмотров 2,5 тыс.Год назад
What can be said that hasn't already been said about one of the worst build sites in Fallout 4. Built over or around items that couldn't be removed, no mods. Enjoy the tour!
Fallout 4 Hangman's Alley Settlement Build Tour (No Mods)

What a nightmare, small settlement that also has build limitations...JP was a walk in the park compared to the alley. Built over or around items that couldn't be removed, no mods. Enjoy the tour!
Fallout 4 Jamaica Plain Settlement Build Tour (No Mods)
Просмотров 19 тыс.Год назад
Not only is Jamaica Plain one of the smaller settlements, it is also one of the most frustrating. Once again built over or around items that couldn't be removed, no mods. Enjoy the tour!
Fallout 4 Graygarden Settlement Build Tour (No Mods)

Built over or around items that couldn't be removed at Graygarden, no mods. Let me know in the comments what you think I should build on the bridges' upper level...I was stumped. Enjoy the tour! Below are videos I referenced to assist in building this settlement. Says “no mods” but is in fact loaded with mods🤦🏼♂️
I have my nuka cola and sugar bombs ready to sit back and relax in here
I’ve been having trouble getting rid of those twigs that always go through the floors, how were you able to achieve that look without mods?
I’m relatively new to Fallout and I’ve struggled from day 1 to build even the smallest things due to lack of ideas mostly (I’m no architect or engineer or anything but still). I’ve seen a lot of settlement build tours videos and yours is one of my favorites; gave me a lot of ideas 👍🏻 No mods builds are the best!
Hey man, awesome build! Can you help me? Im kinda noob and always wanted tô build hangmans alley.. but how do you "merge" building Witherspoon the walls? So you can build up high? Pillar glitch or mat glitch?
Yeah building vanilla is fun indeed. You showed its possible, I knew it is possible. Well done, loved the tour. I've done many (re)buildings in Hangman and its not my favorite place to build. There's quit a lot of space actually, if you know how to that is, but to many settlers in one place makes the neighborhood go glitchy and stuttering, depends on what console you play the game as I found out myself. Didn't seen any stuttering in this video, so I presume you play on pc
@@HermanBogaers On my Xbox Series S, I limit the amount of settlers here, I think it helps with the glitches. I’m glad you enjoyed the build
@@HungryNotTense Having a lot of settlers in any settlement won't be wise, just Sanctuary 20 people max. It might get glitchy quick if you use a lot of settlers everywhere.
That view up into the sun through the wind turbine is a piece of art in itself.
@@shireboundscribbles I’m glad you enjoyed the build!
Great stuff.
You have made Jamaica Pain seem spacious! That's quite an achievement.
@@shireboundscribbles It took so many attempts, glad to hear you enjoyed the build!
Such great inspiration, as I've decided to go back to the challenges of playing unmodified. Even with mods, this settlement is a headache to say the least. I really appreciate the thought & effort you have put into this
Thanks, I’m glad it provided you with inspiration
Had to use something to place these things in the way you did this is amazing clearly spent a day or 2 putting it together
Thank you 😊
Hi, Really nice and actually amazing build. Where and how did you get all the material for the build? It's one of the sparsest places! 🙂
Try to get drugs prewar Money rare animal meat and sell It for materials
If I’m low on material I’ll go back to certain locations or just complete quests picking up items along the way or just purchase them
Personally, I farm the areas Immediately close by, including across that bridge (that diner is LOADED with scrap), the National Guard Training Yard, and the buildings right next to that diner also. Raiders at Revere Beach and the super mutants by Reeb Marina respawn rather quickly, so guns for steel and other scrap (with the Scrapper perk, of course)
All you have to do is set up supply lines. When you set up a supply line, workshop inventory is shared to all the other settlements you link to.
I like your layout. :D
how are your attacks? Do you get many attacks?... here in Jamaica Plain?
I’m not sure, I haven’t stayed in JP long enough for an attack to happen
Great build as always! I've been playing FO4 again recently and have a new found inspiration for settlement building since watching your videos and those of a few other YTers. Currently working on a build at Nordhagen Beach.
Looking forward to it! Glad you enjoyed the build.
very nice
Very ghoul settlement... Heum , i mean , a cool settlement ( ghoulophobe )
😂
I have been building since the game came out , for vanilla build this is really good and better than a lot of others i see on YT...amazing job...i,m on plastation and i use mods...PS allows only in game assets only so what it is whatever you see in game...i feel like that is what bethesda should have done but i believe it was intentional to leave out stuff...to get modders to finish their product...i will be subbing and following...thanks
Agreed, Bethesda could’ve done more, I uninstalled all my mods a while back because they were messing with my game play. Glad you liked the build & thank you for your support!
Awesome build dude absolutely love it. Couple of questions, where did you get the pot plants and the curtains?
I'd love to know that too. Those pot plants are everything
@El_GenericoIV @waltermosito1544 They come with one of the Picket Fences issues found within the game, in the Combat Zone
wait, how did you get bunk beds?
From the Home Decor workshop
@@HungryNotTense is that a DLC?
@@twilightjester5672 Yes they are
Isn't that the Creation Club?
@@newvegasissetin_2281 he lied to me
I'd never have recognized this as Jamaica Plain. Wish I wasn't so lazy or I'd try this.
😂 Come on give it a try & tag me once you’re done. Start one section at a time, maybe with the building.
Man, it is really demonstrated here just how little room this settlement has.
Tenpines bluff settler happiness is stuck at 60% because the first 2 original settlers have beds without an adequate roof over their heads. You can build something and assign them ( in workshop mode) to different beds to get the rating up.
What add on do you use to go over the usual building limits?
I enjoyed your use of all the building materials. I didn’t see any mods ❤
And yes . Its a magical place ^^
Give your settlers particular cloths like dress or suits make a better feel
This place need a fatman turret from a mod and gaurd with gauss rifle to keep ghoul away
This settlement point need protection because of ghoul, super mutant and other deathclaw style évent ahah
I did nothing for coastal cottage except throw down some sleeping bags, some water pumps, a few crops and like...three turrets. Literally nothing else.
I like this rustic look for Zimonja because it blends in to the area so nicely. I did a similar one in an older playthrough awhile back but with more defensive elements..
💝☺️👍
💝☺️👍
As others have said, it is genuinely impressive and beautiful to see all the work you put into making this, and with vanilla tools none the less!!
I love building in Hangman's Alley, some new ideas presented here to consider incorporating in my next build; thanks.
This is really good. I'd love to see what you do with bigger places. Like Starlight, Sanctuary, or Vault 88.
Nice use of the robots you couldn't move, building a scrap shop around them.
Your description awsks for ideas for the highway. I know this is late, but I'd maybe put the mortar for the minutemen up there? Maybe just a straight up minueman outpost. Human(s) up there in minute man gear, assigned to the mortar and a guard post, independent tiny generator. Radio beacon up there too, prolly. Desk with a ham radio on it.
That’s a great idea
@@HungryNotTense :)
How'd you make bunkbeds without mods? Rug glitching? Or am I crazy and they're available in the vanilla game?
Weird, this is almost exactly whad i tried to do with mine, just not quite as organized
Where you find the green dog? From the mutant trader in far harbor? And the cats? Or they are both mods?
You can capture them with the wasteland workshop dlc
Some of the plant pots etc were from the creation club, right? :/ Other than that pretty nice settlement. Sometimes you used metal objects which didn't fit into the entire junky theme in my opinion and if you didn't do that it would have looked like a settlement straight from the lore or the developers. Very inspiring video :)
Always love these types of builds
Thanks. In game this is the worst settlement.
That is a fabulous build! I hate Tenpines because it is such a weird space to try and do anything with. But this gives me a whole bunch of ideas to play with and see if I can finally get the site to work for me.
Excellent build
New viewer. Are you on PC? I’ve been trying to build there (PS4) and always run out of space after working on the house.
I’m on Xbox Series S & use the meter glitch to expand on the space allowed for building.
@@HungryNotTense by space I meant size. I get the “no more can be built” msg. Although I was pretty impressed with myself that I rug glitched my generators inside the closed off house.
i don't have glass walls and metal stairs in my building menu...???
It’s part of the add-on Contraptions workshop
What a great build. I have rebuilt this settlement 3x and never can get it to feel right. My FO4 acct is under a different YT channel. Do you play the game on PC or console?
I play on the Xbox Series S
My settlements never ever loom this good lol
Glad you enjoyed it
