I watched your videos 5 years ago, and why do I feel like you were the first one to have architecture student contents? Haha. Now, there are a lot of content creators focusing in architecture school experience. Anyway, thank you for your videos. They've helped me a lot in coping up in architecture school. I'm in my 5th year now (5 year program) and is finishing my thesis. Thank you Ray!

Thank you so much. Thank you so much for helping me now from 5 years ago. I have a really old professor rn, he’s at his 80s probably, he raised a professor, who raised another professor in my school. He is like the godfather of architecture professors in my school. He literally told me that my parti drawings suck (I am a junior but so far, no one had really taught me what a parti is and I was having a really hard time communicating him bc he blamed me for not being taught what a parti is and said that I had been lazy for the past 2,5 years). He’s really old school and doesn’t let us do anything on computer (which I kind of appreciate bc after all, they’re raising architects not computer graphics students) and he shows us sketches of students from 1980s and 1950s. I hope and pray that I can sketch and have the real understanding of architecture like those students, and hopefully even better.

Heeyy Ray! I came back from your first youtube live for the assignment you gave lol. After a week of thinking, I've realised that I have never looked at an architect's projects as a whole but a project or two here and there, and sometimes some designs that catch my interest I don't even know the architects of :( I'm def gonna spare some time to sit and go through an architect's whole projects everyday from now on. Gonna keep you updated on who I find that inspires me the most soon!!

I remember in my first year Pharrell released his song up all night to get lucky. People to to make so many renditions. I'm up all night to finish my model, I'm up all night to cad. The course is actually terrible for your health. Mentally but also physically. The amount of people who cut themselves with Stanley's because they building last minute rush models without sleeping for days. I had to once take a guy to hospital because he cut his index finger to the bone making his model but he still insisted we only go after hand in and presentation
