hi, did you brake the metal seal? why do you want to brake the metal seal ? are changing existing meter? if not then you do not have to touch it, there you have double switch off that is all. looks like you do not have electrician qualification. with that braking seal you misleading us.

Schenider and Hager make a switch now which also has a loop for the neutral. That way it eliminates the needs of connectors

Why havent you priced for the electrical testing of the existing circuits,you cant just swap switches and sockets without knowing that the cables are in good order your other prices are slightly on the cheap side

If I have an existing switch with a supply coming in from previous room and a supply going out to another room, and I want to add a new switch/light in the same room. Can I take a 2nd supply out of that existing switch to the new switch? So that means it will have a supply coming in from previous room, a supply going out to the next room, and a third supply for the new light/switch. Is this possible or is there a better way?

Dont you put the kitchen sockets on its own circuit.

Hi got a new t100xr 8.5kw On cold and echo 4kw it runs fine but on max 8.5kw it runs for 10 mins then shuts off the shower power light goes out for a split second but the pull switch light does not this is the second t100xr to do this if you put it on from being off all night it lasts 10 minutes but if you put it on right after it went off it lasts 4 mins water ok im thinking its not getting the current and its pcb is getting hot because low volts would make it draw more power? if it was the TCO cold water would come out, same with low water could this be the pull cord switch making a bad connection anyone had this problem

Would probably be around £2,400 But you needed to then charge for anything that fails On testing on an hourly rate Cannot see this passing on test but who knows, Could need a Rewire I would charge for a test first and go from there.

Nice work. I assume the depth of the plaster that's going onto the walls will add about 32mm to thickness of wall as I see that you didn't fit the back boxes into the wall but on top of it? Or will part of the back box be protruding after the walls are plastered?

There isn’t any regulation in terms of height for a renovation or re-wire. The height regulation only applies to new build houses mate.

Would u advise against a 2.5mm ring in a kitchen? Just had it rewired. Thoughts?

Given the choice I would have put in radials. Even in the kitchen I opt for 2 radials. Wire the kitchen radial with 4mm t&e. The amount of broken rings I've encountered in kitchens is quite high. Line to neutral break and the next socket just won't work. The only downside would be an undetected break in cpc. Excellent content bro 👍.
