Norway's Hidden Talent - Who Is Elusin ?
i love her album how im feeling now so much its so emotional and intimate. i always get so emotional listening to the album i love it so much
I really do think that it's one of the best albums ever made
Finally got around to this and so glad I did. Did not expect you to go through the whole discography LMAO. I loveedddd Slipknot from grade 6-8 and fell out of them but I still adore songs like Wait and bleed and the classics. Really funny video and good takes.
Thank you very much, this really means A LOT!
Thank you for the video, first listens are truly some of the craziest things ever. One of my favorite first listen experiences ever was Magdelena Bay's new album Imaginal Disk. I was waiting for midnight for it to drop but it was until maybe 10 minutes right before that i was like "Wait holy shit this is really happening OMG." The minute i hit the first track i felt like i left my body and honestly wanted to cry. It was so beautiful and only got kore climatic and i was like "This is it. We've made it." And that was just the first song. Every song after hit like a brick and i was dancing in my bed by the time the final track came on. I was just happy to be alive and it really made me realize the impact album drops have on my life. Im not feeling well lately, after new years and stuff and i just feel really drained and directionless but im hoping i can find the happiness Imaginal Disk gave me in a long lasting way, ya know? Im hoping i can soon wake up with that feeling everyday
holy this was a powerfull read fr....... Thank you so much for sharing this and I hope you get better fr, and remember you are not alone in this.
@dado983 thank you, bro! It means a lot
@@mark3933 nah thank you man
Damn
damn indeed........
i dropped a ep influenced by devonhyndrx similar to this i tried to repilicate his sound but sounds off but in a good way
oh that's sick to hear
2093 shout, amazing and kotms vol 2 yes!
both are great frfr
no vultures 1, go ahead and delete your channel for me please
It wasn't that far from making the list tbh
QUAD DID
QUAD DID!
Good picks and solid editing
Thank you very much it really means A LOT
Where is dopamin 2 and do jaja i nazad???????
lil bro fr asked for "Dopamin 2"💀
enjoyed this one bro, u got great taste keep up the good work
Thank you so much bro, really means A LOT!
So glad 2093 made it. INCREDIBLE album 🔥🔥🔥🚒 Great video as always fam
Yeat really made a generational project with that one, and thank you very musch fr
Great vid, I laughed out loud a few times. Pretty good editing too. Bladee, Mount Eerie, and Peggy were all in my top 5 albums this year so great taste bro, I’m subscribing
Ayyyyy thank you so much glad you enjoyed the video, and you also have elite music taste
Happened to me with Song Machine Season One by Gorillaz. I hated it at first, but I relistened a few times and now it's one of their best albums.
Haven't listened to it yet, but heard it's great
Gluee and eversince was peak
One of his bests ngl
Definitely happened with atrocity exhibition for me
Realllllll, the same goes for me as at first I thought that it was just okay, and now it's one of my all time favs ngl
I didn’t like death grips after listening a few songs, but a few months later when listened to the money store I became a cult member.
That really is how it goes with Death Grips
Saw Hypochondriac and clicked
real.
Good video I know a Underground artist name DarkGhostHell most people don’t know him the music is interesting
Sounds prettx interesting, might check them out
Agreed. I didn’t really get GY!BE at first (although I liked the intro to DFB and Sleep), but now they’re my seventh favorite band of all time, and Slow Riot is in my all time top ten.
That's so cool to hear
I started out hating Death Grips, then I listened to guillotine, thought it was alright, so I went and checked out the album with the most jarring cover they have (imo) Bottomless Pit. I kinda hated a bunch of songs like Hot Head, BB poison and Trash, but I listened to the album a few more times, and now its one of my favourite of all time, and I enjoy their entire discography. I'm glad I gave them a few extra chances.
Same goes for me tbh
so this is where i go now
Shiiiii ig
bladee
aka the GOAT of music
find it incredibly hard to believe she would be as known if she didnt perma spam her attraction for views
I think that she still would be, but who knows
bladee
THE GOAT indeed
What's the song at 50 seconds
idk bruh
i cant believe quadeca died and became a ghost just to make this great album
Yeah that's crazy ngl, real dedication frfr
4:09 background music is dam dam dam by jpegmafia
yesssir, glad someone noticed that
eu não gostava de the hellp levou umas 4 escutadas e virei fã
fair ngl, it does take multiple listens to get into some artists
Sick video very true statements
thank you fr
awesome vid bro
thank you very much, really means a lot!
Im pretty much like this with everything music lol. Its very rare that something clicks straight away, Chromakopia clicked straight away for example, but im still digesting GNX you get me? Even my favorite albums ever, GKMC, College Dropout, I Didnt Mean to Haunt You didnt click for me straight away, but nowadays theyre literally 11/10's. Whats wrong with me lol
Yeah I def get you, I'm kinda the same a lot of the time
For me it was the case with By the time I get to phoenix, I hated it on the first listen, after a few re listens it just clicked with me and now it's one of my favourite albums.
I can see that as that album is very complex and just the sound of the album is very experimental, but I'm glad you came around on it as it's an amazing album
You are insanely based man, both for your taste and your words. There's a lot of songs that make me feel things, to be honest. I usually go to Ants From Up There by BCNR when im feeling down due to how emotional, relatable, and powerful it is to me. Twenty one pilots (guilty pleasure or not) have also always been a personal outlet for me but always have something motivational rooted in their work. On the other hand, I get what you're saying with trying to listen to more "positive music." As of late, ive been listening a lot to Merriweather Post Pavilion by Animal Collective and Magdalena Bay's discography and theyve been both uplifting and relaxing. Its the kind of thing i need in my life rn and im hoping i can get the motivation to accomplish all the things i want to do and just enjoy life with friends and family. Also big W for Quadeca, love that guy
Thank you so much for this comment, and yeah I also try to listen to a lot more positive music but sometimes I just want to turn on some sad stuff lmao (you also got great music taste btw)
The death grips discography after the money store is a sound festival that sounds perfect i think the best way to get into their full discography is by getting into year of the snitch and bottomless pit
After the money store they def get more unconventional with the song structures
Praising Morrissey from The Smiths after showing a JPEGMAFIA clip is lethal bru!😂😂😂 Fire Video Tho!🔥
LMAOOOOO didn't even think ab that until now, thank you fr
For me, whenever I get into new music, I treat it as if I love the type of album or song or ep that it is. Even if it's something I've never dipped my toes into. It usually helps me try to connect with the music further. We all have one artist that whenever we go into an album of theirs, it always hits. But if your trying to get into an artists you aren't sure you will enjoy, and you treat it with scepticism, it could lead to an underwhelming, not satisfying, or a foreign experience. When you get into a new artist (ie; Death Grips or Swans) treat the music like you've been ecstatic and exited to listen.
I always go into new listens with exitment, as without it what's the point
Death Grips is literally the almost same experience I had as you, except most my friends liked it ironically. I started to like them unironically... and then I started to like them more... and then more... and then I'm now the "Death Grips guy" in my city.
Lmaooooo that's funny, all of my friends were onto them for years before I got into them
Did you suddenly found yourself liking men and rapidly loosing weight?
I freakin love this video. What you said is on point.
Thank you very much, really means A LOT!
Down the line death grips got boring somehow
I mean if u listened to them a bunch I see how that can happen
This fs happened to me with a FlyLo album and two Thundercat projects, mainly due to me not really being in a positive headspace around the time, great video
Not beeing in a mood or a certain headspace can make it difficult to connect with music, and thank you so much for the compliment : )
That silent Danny Brown sample from "Ain't it funny" is a prime example of a song by him that did never grow on me... cause I loved it since the first listen. Other than that, yeah, most of my favorites are the songs that I didn't love on my first listen.
Real ngl, on my first listen I thought that Danny was such a mid artist, but nowadays he is one of my favs
I think mr morale and the bigsteppers and exmilitary took ages to grow on me but now I love them both
The contrast between those two albums is hilarious 😭😭 Nah I feel it though. They take time to grow on you in different ways (exmilitary more sonically, MM more conceptually).
I loved Mmatbs on first lisen, but I 100% agree with the Exmilitary take as it also took ages to grow on me
Love Jane remover
Ayyyyyyy the real ones know what you talking about ; )
Quadeca fan here, trying to get into Jane Remover :)
@ imo frailty is her best project but Census Designated is incredible too. The Teen Weak ep has some good tracks too.
@@danielmcgrath680 If you like more electronic and hyperpopish production listen to frailty, but if you like more rock and drone metal listen to censuc (both masterpieces)
Jane fan here, trying to get into Quadeca
heard the smiths a million times still hate them, hate grows in this case
hahahahahaha that's fair ngl, hope that one day you can get into theyre music
I think this happens alot when artists drop new albums and people immediately solidify their opinions after only a single listen. Take chromokopia as an example, pretty funny i only saw a ton of hate within the first 2 days of dropping and havent seen any hate since. Music reviewing i think is killing the industry to an extent bc it gets people to quantify music when it shouldnt be.
Factssssss I 100% agree, even I didn't LOVE Chromokopia on first listen but after a few it's amazing imo
@@surfinwithshah Facts, I hate when people listen to albums just for the sake of doing it to boost the review number on aoty or rym (that's why I made that joke in the video)
even though pusha T isnt as experimental as death grips, danny or peggy, the first time i heard his album daytona i only liked one song, but now after some time i think its one of my favorite albums of all time even went out and checked out other albums of him and they as good, sometimes even better than daytona. some people just dont realize that you need patience for this, but this video explains it very well W!
Pusha is a really talanted artist and deserves all the praise, thank you : )
i doubt i'll ever understand my bloody valentine sorry
try w headphones or speakers on max volume. best way to experience loveless
That’s because she’s dead, you killed her.
Lowkey the same
try imagine listening to pop music, but there's a vacuum noise in the background.
you gotta feel that emotion bro.. let it sink inside you..
You know the analysis is goated when they don't believe in the House Settling misinterpretation
ON GOD TWIN
An album that really grew on me was die lit by playboi carti - i really didn't like it my first time but coming back a few times i got used to what carti was all about and eventually i saw the vision! great video 🔥
Agree with this as I really hated Cartis music at first, but nowadays I'm a huge fan of his, and thank you so much for the compliment : ) Really means a lot!
