Hit Point Press has said they are using Whalebacker for the USA for The Fablemakers Deck of Many Things Kickstarter. Hit Point keeps coming up with excuses why rewards to backers are delayed and they wont give definitive answers as to where our rewards are.

Been waiting since 3rd week of november for WB to ship items they said were in stock. Zero communications from them.

Just for clarity to those who are watching. The first set of pictures (with the latticed cardboard) is actually the European fulfillment company not Whalebacker. I'm so glad I'm UK based and got my items with good packaging.

Whalebacker is providing fulfillment for Free League publishing here in the states. Not impressed, and seems like they were advertising for help in their warehouse starting at 8 bucks an hour on Ziprecruiter just two days ago. Put my order in three weeks ago, and it is still awaiting shipment. Straight trash tier, and will avoid dealing with any company that uses them for their fulfillment,

Whalebacker is trash. They might have potential, but I really wish game companies would go back to Flat River which actually knows what they are doing.

how does moving the accessories across the rail feel? I tried the demo table at Pax Unplugged and noticed that accessories seem to catch on the rail if you slide them down

I'm the proud (read: not proud) recipient of that godawful US packaging job with the styrofoam mini-corners all askew. (I'm famous!) That picture was taken upon opening the box lids. I touched nothing and had removed nothing. The styrofoam mini-corners that I assume had been intended for the bottom side of the game box were pulverized and smashed apart by the jostling of everything during shipping. Amazingly, none of what I received was damaged other than the styrofoam mini-corners. I contacted Bored Game Ink just to provide them evidence of what was being sent out. This is the most piss-poor shipping I've ever seen by a fulfillment company.

Amazon does a better packaging job than that. That's really bad. I still think Awaken Realms is the gold standard for packaging from the publisher. That's just horrible.

I just hope the paper quality will be better this time. Seemed to be flimsy and could possibly tear easy.

Wow, such an attractive story！ The popular urban fantasy book brings more charm to the game. The Eamon playmat or dice tray makes it better to protect game pieces, create defined play areas, and pick up cards and other pieces more easily. That's very sweet.

Great job. Some wash and highlights would make them even better, but would have taken twice as much time to do.

One thing most Americans don't realize is that availability of games isn't the same everywhere. There are many retail release games that you still can't get in Canada, and may be sold out for months yet. We just don't have the same level of retailers as the US has, not as many options, and more expensive shipping if we wanted to get it from the US.

I didn't realize how all over the place the Canadian shipping was. NL goes up to almost twice the cost of QC/ON. Just weird.

I'm only two mins into the video, but stopped it so I could post this immediate comment... This is my first time watching one of your videos. And to be absolutely honest, given how unimpressed I am with the position of the camera in relation to how it shows the game and playmats, I had no interest in watching any more. For me, camera positioning and field of view is a significant factor for any good boardgame video. BUT... then you gave your game rating up front! Wow. That changed everything for me. I found that to be so incredibly refreshing! Normally, I'm only halfway listening to what a reviewer has to say because I'm instead wondering where it's all going. But with you, I already know where you're going to take me. I already know how you feel about the game, thus, I'm more enthusiastic about listening because now I wanna know why! OK, back to watching the video.

I thought it might be interesting to have alliance be restricted to the three original houses of the deck. So Logos has to be swapped for Logos for example. This added restriction might help the meta from being stale and still push folks out of their comfort zone.
