Solo moto adventure with Tenere 700 - Camping Trans Euro Trail Lithuania
I present one night solo moto adventure I done last summer with my Yamaha Tenere 700. Been riding Trans Euro Trail Lithuania and stopped for wild camping for the night.
Started the day really late, left my home almost at midday and was rushing to reach desired spot for overnight. Unfortunately my calculations been wrong and I got in to big trouble. I had few minor tip-overs and one major mud pond where I got stuck for a good hour and wasted all my remaining energy.
However I found really nice place to camp, had a really nice swim in the river and calm night. There is nothing better like being alone in the wild.

Short video about me picking up brand new Tenere 700 from Yahama dealer and short introduction to additional accessories I bought - OEM center stand, SW Motech handguards, SW Motech front axle sliders. One night solo winter camping trip on skis. Most the the time I was skiing on a frozen river till I got tired and settled a camp. Campfire cooking steak, sleeping under simple shelter with no tent. I had serious problems with skiing as I am novice and skis were not slippery at all. Also 19kg backpack was not much of a help. So it was ski-walking all in all. Short, but great trip alone. Winter hike in deep snow, overnight in the wild

Finally winter came and we got out for the hike with overnight in the wild. We covered 31km of which nearly half in quite deep snow. Sleeping next to the fire in the wild is always rewarding, especially in winter when it's freezing cold :). Hope you enjoy! Instagram: @raimundasbaronas
New Year's Eve in the forest, camping with dogs, barbecue burgers

Short video how we spent New Year's Eve and met 2021 in the forest camp with dogs. Hot wine at 1°C was a good friend together with special barbecue burgers we make in the woods. We slept in a tent and went home next morning. Covid-19 made my dreams come true lol. Short 2 day hike to the woods. It was two days before actual calendar winter, but weather was not most welcoming for camping and sleeping at night next to the campfire. Got just the lower crash bars. What torque did you use on oem bolts? Thanks!
I think it should be indicated on instructions. I tightened as much as I thought it's enough, simply from hand.

Absolutely stunning track! I'll be sure to comve over to Lithuania on my T7 this summer, for a week or two. Not sure why nobody I know likes sand. It's so fun to ride, constantly wrestling for control. Much better than some boring gravel if you ask me. But I'll keep in mind that I'll need to swap my stock tires for some knobbies before coming over 😎

This was great. I would not stop watching even if I wanted to. Your self determination drove me to keep watching. Trust me when I say you are to hard on yourself. I would never take my T7 through the slogs and sand you did. Bigger man than me. Been there on a 250 but will not on a 700. Fantastic job! Very much enjoyed. Thanks for posting.
Haha thanks mate. It was first season for me last year offroading, so I was still learning to pick my routes 😁. Probably I will be more cautious in the future, because as you, bike is damn heavy and it takes too much energy from my fat ass 😅. But in another hand, I love challenges 🥲💪🏻

I point of view but not reality for me, which usually involves broken and uneven ground and travelling at > 0km/h.
Of course. Every crash is indivudual. I had many of them last year, always offroad, never on high speed, always less than let's 40km/h and worked really well. One side has a slight bend towards engine though. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
The camel adv anti bobble head works amazing to make that screen stop bouncing around it completely solves it and the headlight stops bouncing too.

I have exactly the same Tenere. I also like to ride alone, sometimes I have to fight with the weight of the bike. but I like this bike. before tenere was the GS 1250 it was even heavier and harder to ride in the sand because it has a very heavy engine and therefore the weight is shifted to the front wheel. For this reason, I changed the bike. Now I am making changes to my Tenere because there is not enough steering damper. and still need to work on the suspension. I really liked the video.
Thanks mate. What do you plan to do with suspension? I am thinking to change rear spring as I am too heavy, especially with all campong gear.
@@RaimundasBaronas I also plan to change the springs. but there is another problem is the fork. It is weak for my driving style. I've straightened it three times already. even with a light fall on the sand, the fork twists.

This is an example of why my next bike would be light. Under 400 pounds I hope. My current Adv bike weighs nearly 600 pounds.
Haha true, but don't get me wrong, it's not Tenere to blame, but lack of experience and wrong tires. Bike is great, I just need to learn to use it and of course learn to choose a path because it's still heavy bike :)
I wish for something between a wr450 and a Tenere. If there could be a blend of the two, ideal.
