That happened to us at Elvis’ Heartbreak Hotel. We had to have the cleaning service come in and clean the bathroom, and remove the PORN magazines from under the bed! That told us that the entire room WAS NOT cleaned at all. You can tell when this happens, it’s rude, foul and dishonest of the housekeeping staff and the hotel.

Y'all find any reason to complain. If you go to a 5 star hotel, I assure you, you will find something. To get a free two night stay, or be a total ass. How about Stay home and you will complain about the light bill, cable or phone never satisfied.

I drove semis 42 years B/4 retiring 3 years ago the tractors were all day cabs. Roadway Express so a lot of times I had to stay in Motels hotels I hated doing bed jobs some of those places are NASTY!! I'd rather do a turn which means i'm sleeping in my own bed that night.

I agree with your frustration. I had a recent experience at a Hilton that was over $200 a night. Hairs in the bed. 🤮

This is based on your housekeeper.. probably was lazy and did a quick job to get on to the next. Maybe she had many rooms to clean or she just doesn't do a great thorough job.. IDK. I say it's also the Managers fault cause a Manager should check out each room a housekeeper does to make sure it's ready to go. You should of been given 50% off your next stay at least.

I worked for a Hampton Inn years ago & they would inspext every room after they were cleaned to make sure no dirt or hair was left behind however we only washed comforters & blankets once a month so to me that was even more disgusting than leavimg a little dirt on the floor or shedding a few hairs from my ponytail while cleaning. ,,

I usually don’t have a problem with holiday inn hotels well the first one I Stayed at was in downtown South Carolina and they had no swimming pool I was like seriously what kind of hotel has no swimming pool and the manager at the front desk told me hey at least we have a fitness center and I didn’t even want to stay there I was frustrated and than we stayed at a other holiday inn located in New Berry South Carolina and when I arrived there upon checking inn I asked the manager if hey had a swimming pool and he said yes but however he told me it was closed for remodeling and so was the breakfast area and I was just pissed to the point where i didn’t even want to stay there well we ended up staying there anyway because we didn’t want to drive a whole extra hour to find another hotel but we were at least given free chocolate chip cookies at the front desk

I don't know what's going on in Texas with their hotels, but the two grossest hotels I have ever been to were in Texas.

It is almost IMPOSSIBLE to find steady housekeeping help and stay in the hotel business. None of these people that want to work care about anything. With the current economic situation, expect things to go downhill faster than Biden coming down Air Force 1. A country cannot sustain what has happened to it in the last 3 years, it just can’t. Interest rates are so high no one can afford to buy, wages won’t cover living expenses anymore. When McDonalds is more costly than home cooking , we are in trouble. Not to mention this administration is about to have us in a war. That’s coming from a Spec Ops community. We will be at war. Mark it down

We used to love Holiday Inn but I agree the standard has gone down hill. We travel a lot both for vacation but also because of travel cheer and dance. It’s not horrible compared to some but the standard has gone down. We have switched over to Marriott brand and then Hilton. Even a lot of hiltons have gone downhill especially their Garden Inns. Marriott has been consistently the best the last few years. We are booked at a Holiday Inn resort property in Galveston for our upcoming cruise but the reviews and video reviews didn’t seem too bad. We have had to lower our standards which in and of itself is a bit sad. There are times we even had to go and buy a cheap broom and dust pan and Lysol wipes and re clean ourselves which is also sad.

This hotel is most likely owned by a foreigner. Their standards are much lower than say an American owner That being said, considering it's California you have to go 5 star or nothing at all!

You showed a shower with shampoo etc attached to wall in beginning and then a dirty shower with your shampoos on ledge🤔
