Urbex: An Iconic abandoned Motel. (DEMOLISHED)
This Iconic abandoned Motel 6 is pretty well known in the area for it's massive well visible sign. The motel closed originally opened as a motor lodge, but sometime in 2018 it was turned into a motel 6. This Iconic motel closed down sometime a couple months ago. This is how it looked as of our visit.
I wish we went into more rooms.

Dead Malls: West hill mall
Просмотров 444Месяц назад
I can't really find any information about this mall. Most of the mall is being used as a security facility (probably because its right next to the state prison.) This mall keeps getting smaller and smaller, as of my visit, only 2 stores were open. Original recording date: 9/14/24 #deadmall #shoppingcenter #mall

In 2019, the sears closed down as well as 80 stores around the nation. As of 2022, bed bath and beyond finally closed their location at Central Mall. as of 2024, the mall has new owners and plans for major changes to the mall. Music used: Mal...

I know this mall very well. The wide open old storefront was Zales. It is pretty cool that they saved a piece of the old mall corridor. Before the shoe store opened up, you could open up the door and walk through and see more of the old mall.
My dads hometown port artu...lol
Supposedly there will be a new market place sometime in the future but I do not know when though
I searched for where west hills mall is and google says it’s in Ghana.
Used to live right down I-10 from this place. That sign was awesome at night.
So moldy! Must smell so bad!
real
its almost like i was there
Went once in 2021 only thing left were the macys and jcpennys and the mall was striped inside
Ah! They keep making it smaller and smaller. Sad that this is happening to such a gorgeous mall. Thanks for filming this place!
hopefully this doesn’t end up like San Jacinto Mall
seeing the mall in this form is just sad i enjoyed the memories here i really just hoped online shopping wasnt a thing.
my mom went here alot and so did i but online shopping cane in and ruined everything the mall closed a bunch of stores the last store was macys and jcpennys but the couldnt keep the mall up and it saw the light for the last time.
Lee Baron and Factory Connection left 😢 The last of the retail life of this mall is pretty much over.
Is Deerbrook and Willowbrook mall still open?
@@jasongibson3496 Yes
What time were you filming?

From was once a nice, clean, & popular shopping destination to an abandoned building left in ruins. They tore the San Jacinto Mall down which was in Baytown, Texas & I'm sure they're going to do the same to that mall there too.
Supposedly they said they were gonna just do renovations to it,but I guess they tore it down to rebuild it,but that was year a ago and I haven't heard anything from anyone in baytown about it
@Buguese the San Jacinto Mall was torn down 2 years ago. They're suppose to build a new market place there in that same spot but haven't even started anything yet. Unless they changed their minds on the plan. Right now it's still just a big empty field with a fence around it.
@@KevinRichards-my5oj fuck man,ahs it been 2 years? I worked security for 5,and last I remembered was yeah,it was torn down and then it just remained a lot,but then no news about any new building,or rather no actual progress on it
@Buguese Baybrook Mall on the other hand still looks the same as it did back in the day when it first opened which is rare these days because you don't see many malls full of open stores around anymore like you use to back in the days before internet, i-phones, & Amazon. Another mall that's still going great is Mall of America up in Minnesota & it's the largest mall in the USA. My mom took me to the San Jacinto Mall on the day when it first opened & it was the place. I was a little kid at the time & had many fun memories visiting it. When it closed 4 years ago, it left JCPenney & Macy's as the only 2 stores to stay open. Later when the 2 stores closed, the whole mall was abandoned & left in ruins for a while until it was finally torn down.
RIP San Jacinto Mall
That mall was a popular shopping destination back in the days before internet, i-phones, & Amazon. I've visited it many times & had many fun memories. Sad to see it go to the graveyard. RIP
hi
Fkkng doosh with the leaf blower.
I'm from Houston. That's the ghetto.
But the economy is just fine for investors...😜. Malls are a physical example of the average Americans wealth. Even if Amazon has taken over many things people would still shop there if the average Joe was still paid good in this country.
Good shot of foleys!
Gunspoint Mall
I'm sorry, but if you're unable to get inside the building it is not worthwhile making it a video. I don't say this to be rude, but generally, people are going to come here expecting an inside exploration.
The last doors were open and he could have walked right in.....
When I visited here last month, I definitely noticed the security guard roaming the mall. As for the mall itself, the layout is kind of unusual with having a cluster of anchors and mini-anchors at one end of the mall, and the Dillard entrances blending in with the mall corridor.
Pretty much a microcosm of H Town (formerly Houston) itself......and H Town is pretty much a microcosm of the US in general......ain't diversity great !!
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Sears with the tops of the walls colored orange before
I like the checkerboard sections of the floor
good location for a horror movie.
They could even call it Gunspoint Mall...
The start of the downfall of this mall was likely in the 2000’s when new stores opened near the mall. I would say that from 2016 on the mall kept getting worse. I will always miss going to this mall.
I used to go to this mall here and there. Now I just avoid it in general. I really don’t like going to Almeda Mall. The mall probably won’t improve because of the side of town that it’s in, not the best in my opinion.
Place looks apocalyptic
Lucky your tires weren’t taken. There’s a reason we call it Gunspoint
You a bop😂
Hahaha yes we do! I remember when I was young and woodlands mall wasn't open yet, and this was the mall we had to go to!
Online shopping and outlets have destroyed malls nationwide. Sad in a way.
This mall was always dead from the beginning, according to locals it never housed more than 10 stores
me and friend went inside and got kicked out a year ago we were in there for about 2 hours. Dangerous place to be we saw a crap ton of needles and blood stains in some places
God seeing that emptied out vans store (12:00) is crzyyy. rip
1:47 This room looks terrifying!!
The parking lot is completely barricaded and there’s security always in a car. Wondering how you even got in the parking lot with it being blocked
reminds me of bunker i found in hawaii
The guy with the leaf blower was asking for it! 😂👊
cool
It’s closing at the end of the month.
