Bad ass rides would love to have one no $$$ lol
@@danielfrance7293 I didn't start out with these. I started with a $2500 1950 Pontiac. It takes time.
Runs without a fuel pump still?
Yes! That's the benefit of running duel updrafts. That is why I ran the updrafts to keep from running a fuel pump.
@@GarageKulture13 Thanks. Was just checking :). I was running a downdraft quite successfully, but went back to stock when my son got old enough to come along, because I hated the idea of him sitting there with a fuel pump and 10 gallons of gasoline in his lap. But just got that Vortex intake, albeit with some twin Zenith-2s hoping that it will wake this thing a bit up, without having to fool around with the car's electrics. And I like how it looks more than downdrafts too...
@MisterZumbi I agree on the fuel pump, and not to mention, it's one more thing that can fail. I extended the GAV rod, so I was able to still have a choke on one carb.
I'm glad I taught you everything I know... 😂
So cooool
That's awesome
I would used kerosene or diesel fuel,
@BobbyGravley I thought about that, but I already had 5 gallons of MMO on hand.
Nice cars... greetings from Germany 🤌✌️
No, it didn't move.
It definitely moved and is free now.
❤MMO Exchange a quart for oil at change time. I alsolike MMO air tool oil.
Pull the plugs, should rotate easier if it ever will
They are just barely in, but yes, you are right.
You know, on them flathead, taking a head off aint no thing right? 5 min per head tops with a 1/2 " drive and the correct socket. And you can re use the bolts!! Get that erl way down in thar
Yes. I've never taken the head off of a flathead V8, but I've taken the heads off several stock Ford Model As. It's turning pretty good now. The purpose of me leaving the heads on was that if a piston was towards the top of it's stroke it wouldn't hold much MMO. If I left the head on, we could fill it up to the valves without spilling over.
@GarageKulture13 taking the plugs out help? It would lower compression. I did this before, I thought my motor was done for, removed the plugs and that did. The trick!!!
Very cool. Keep up the good work
Yes! MM OIL!
Good job dad
Can't hear you
👍🏻👍🏻
❤
Nice car!
❤
Love it.
Beautiful, looking great 👍
Did you get this car from North Carolina?
Yes I did.
Too Kool Get the kid shades 😎 Daddio 🥸
Dad can I borrow the Ford to get some MacDonalds and do burn outs and put the car into a swimming pool?
Beautiful car 👍🏼😎👍🏼
Thank you.
Nice ride.
Thanks!
SICK LOOKING BOMB
Hey, thanks!
@@GarageKulture13 your welcome
Nicer than mine! Subscribed
Very cool tall t simplicity at its best👍🏻🇺🇸
Love the fact that you did not chop the top . I think chopping the top is too common and makes the car look like all the others . Also love the color. 😎
I can't claim any credit for the build on this car. I was only the caretaker for a while. However, I can't agree with you more.
Is that a 283 or a 327?
It has 350/350.
Oh man....what a really cool looking rod!!! That orange-ish color really makes it pop...very old school, and I really like it!!!
I would have like to have seen it with a white top and white interior but it went to North Carolina yesterday. It definitely had the look. Fun car to drive.
Oh man....I agree! A white top would have been awesome...what a great two-tone combination! Still, a really cool looking car that has it's on appeal!!!@@GarageKulture13
BRINGS TEARS TO MY EYES NICE
Beautiful
Thanks!
Hello there, I'd like to make a compilation of very old, carbureted cars starting up in the frost, could I use a fragment of your video for my coldstarting compilation? Of course I will put a link to your original video in the description, increasing the original’s popularity too. Thanks a lot for you answer in advance :) Starts super well for a 93 year old car!!! What oil do you use in it? And what engine does it have? Fully original?
Man just tell me you still have it. That's one real American truck. Head turner is an understatement! Ohhhhhh she sounds good!
what a dilema!
Is the ignition time too advanced?
When the frame broke in the same truck I eneded up going back with a flathead V8.
I love early heavy duty
Me too. I'd definitely own another.
44x21 on 6 lug axles 😅
Dang running those tires on 6 lug axles too
Just started on a 84 GMC for my son. 550hp 383ci stroker and stock suspension now.
Nice garage also it's cool to see one of these engines running outside the car.
2 cans of STP oil treatment or switch to Shell aviation 60 wt oil .. or install radio .lmao 🤣
Sounds to me like the compression ratio is way above stock 4.2:1. Gudgeon pin knock I'd say.
Has the problem been found in the meantime?
It has not. It's sitting in the engine stand waiting on me to circle back around to it.
Did u figure it out yet?@@GarageKulture13
@SpeizioCustoms sadly, I did not find the issue. When I replaced the frame on the truck, I went back with a flathead V8. I ended up selling the motor.
@@GarageKulture13 oh okayy
🤘🤘
I almost bought one of those when I was in high school in the 60s for $600, but I didn't quite have the $600. Mom had a Model A went she was young.
It’s an early Ford diesel!
What a "Pearl ".... great truck!🎩🇺🇸🎩
