This is my first ride in the Adventure Island 2017 and is shot on my LG 360 Cam LG-R105 inside of a Voia tranparent waterproof circular case cover. I love the boat and had a great time on the water! Use your mouse to adjust the viewing angle of the camera in 360 degrees.
We’re can I buy the new gear box?
I ordered the parts I needed off the main website: www.torqeedo.com/us/en-us/products/spare-parts/outboards/ultralight/403/pylon-403/pylon-ii The Gearbox UL (Item number 030-00003) was the main part I needed.
Sorry Oliver, I think I hit the thumbs down by mistake! Great video! You have removed the mystery for me. I LIKE the video. I have a bent shaft to replace. Thx!!!
glad it helped!
Great video- I'm having to take a look at my 403 after a E45 error. I have water intrusion into the prop gear half and my circuit board side looked good and dry. What is the part number of the KIT you bought?
Sorry to hear you are having trouble. I just ordered the parts I needed off the website for Pylon II: www.torqeedo.com/us/en-us/products/spare-parts/outboards/ultralight/403/pylon-403/pylon-ii The Gearbox UL (Item number 030-00003) was the main part I needed.
I’m having the exact same issue.. what’d you find out if you don’t mind me asking?
@@eltonwadlow I took my pylon apart but haven't followed up with ordering parts yet, I know my prop shaft had a slight wobble, but the front bearing is also bad I think, and I haven't looked into how to replace that front end component. All my electronics look clean yet, so that part is still good. I might just spring for a new pylon in time.($750).
Why not just replace the seal?
The drive shaft was broken and needed to be replaced
@@drwillingham I mean instead of the whole housing? Just replace the seal in the housing?
@@andypag1071 oh, yes probably, but the only parts I could find at the time included the whole kit
this guy has the best vids!
Where does the water from the Toqeedo motor go in? Is it the O-ring part? Or is it the propeller part?
A failure at either location could allow water to get in and damage the motor unit
hi Ryan, do you have replace the oring whenever you open the torqeedo or can it be use again. the reason i asked is i want to check the inside of my torqeedo if there is water seeping inside. i had water before getting inside the motor and i had it repaired by torqeedo. thanks
I suspect it could be reused, but I would replace it since it is a low cost but critical part
@@drwillingham Thanks buddy!
@@drwillingham Btw, do you know the part number of the o-ring and where do you order your parts? Thanks for the tremendous help.
@@allanyoung9987 You will need two: O-RING 70 x 1.5 mm, Item number: 009-00021. www.torqeedo.com/us/en-us/products/spare-parts/outboards/ultralight/403/pylon-403/pylon-ii/o-ring-70x1.5mm/009-00021.html
Bro I would have put some silicone grease in the Orings... good job showing us❤
Great info thanks
Glad it could help
Good Job and You did it. Thanks the shot.
Fun video and looks like a good time! I’m considering making the drive to Arkansas to complete these but the Jeep videos all seem to be Rubicons, so I’m wondering how my basically stock (33 AT tires are the only non-stock item) Saraha would handle it. Any of these three I should avoid? I’ve got two Jeep badge trails under the belt already but I’m still a newbie and haven’t had the Jeep that long (little over a month) so no mods yet.
Awesome! the best part of owning a jeep is getting it out on the trail! At the time, my JLUR was running on 33 AT tires, so you could be good there. I am confident you would be able to do Snake with no problem. I used the lockers on Fun Run because it was wet, but if the trail is dry, I bet you could do that one also with very little trouble. Rubicon Ridge is a long trail on which I would recommend having a buddy. It has one steep part in the middle where I needed to use lockers. You can see me backing up at minute mark 2:19 to choose a better line. If you got stuck there, it would be a bit of a hike to get help.
Great boats.
Thanks!
which of the 3 trails was the hardest. I am going with my newbie buddies and do not have the patients for all three if they do not involve the need for 4x4... I will go on one though to be social.
I used my lockers on Rubicon Ridge and Fun Run. I only needed spotting on some of the extra non-badge trails. If you are picking one badge of honor trail, I would recommend Fun Run because it is fairly short and entertaining.
@@joeschmoe426 Yes, we only used the winch when we got off the badge trails
Looks fun 😀
We are enjoying it!
What trails did y'all do?
We took the doors off at Area B, headed out on Park Road 2, turned on Hog Alley, took Baby Back to Dino Falls, drove up the river to Hidden Falls, got back on Park Road 2 up to North Pole, drove to the northeast corner point, then back down North Pole trail to Park Road 3, then up to the top of Wildcat Mountain
Ryan Willingham that's awesome I'll try that route on my next trip love the JL footage
@@albertocorrea2117 thanks!
How are you enjoying your AI now that you've had it a couple months? Nice Video! Ilove mine too.
TIMOTHY KNOWLES I continue to use it frequently but typically without the sail and with one ama as a fishing platform
wow~~!!
