      Okay yes this is an inverter A/C unit, they weren’t that in the past, so they were a little louder in the past.. I’ve had both styles and they’ve been both pretty good. If you’re running it with house A/C it could pose a conflict of pressure.

I keep a pocket note book to write down "events." I am into my second one. Soon need a third one. I bought the truck in SC. Lived in Ga. Now live in NC. No snow/salt in SC or GA. A little snow/salt here in NC. I don't drive when there is salt on the rds. My truck is reliable/sturdy.

    You talk to fast and not explaining good Thanks any way

    • @fixitcarter
      @fixitcarter 27 дней назад

      Yes, so in this video, what I’m simulating or showing is that when I add the fuse back to the circuit in question it put a draw on the battery. This means that it takes power away from the battery when the vehicle is off. When I take the fuse out, the voltage stays stable, it doesn’t draw or go down because the fuse is not in. This is how I am able to know that the item on the circuit is causing my draw. Let me know if that makes it simpler for you. I was trying to get all of that information into a one minute short that’s why I talk fast. For people who have them researching the issue they can kind of pick up on the information quickly. But if it’s new information, it can be confusing.

    What eventually happens if it’s not fixed?

    • @fixitcarter
      @fixitcarter 27 дней назад

      If you don’t fix this issue, you will eventually blow your AC compressor. This will cause the metal particles in the blown AC compressor to be pushed through your system. Best option is to get this repaired as soon as possible or don’t use your compressor at all. In this case, you can just replace your AC compressor. But if you caused that type of damage, you will need to replace the AC compressor, the expansion valve, the dryer and the condenser. On top of that you will have to have your lines flushed.

    I just realized that my early 2009 production LS3 in my 2010 Camaro SS, has been super horrible blowby. I noticed it at first through the throttle body, so that was bad enough. Then, I installed an oil catch can and my horrors came true. I don’t have AFM/DOD, so I also don’t have a PCV. Chevy uses a flexible u-shaped connection to share a port from the engine valley cover, to the intake manifold. The driver side valve cover is capped off from the factory for this reason. Anyways, I noticed my oil catch can filling up literally every 4-5 days, driving more than 200-250 miles (not including hard driving, etc). My engine/car only has barely 35k miles, and I figured the piston rings weren’t bad (never got it compression checked), the spark plugs seemed okay, and the valley cover gasket couldn’t possibly be messed up. I’m gonna see if I can install an in-line PCV valve (3/8”) either through the inlet of my catch can, which goes to the intake manifold. I believe that this will remedy all the oil blow-by, as a result of the engine design

    • @fixitcarter
      @fixitcarter Месяц назад

      Wow, my first thought is that the pistons have carbon buildup or seal are gone. 35k miles sounds like a lot of sitting which could mean seals drying up. A high mileage oil could fix it. You could also do a bg epr oil treatment and potentially attack both the seals and rings at once. You can also do a fuel system treatment and get to the upper cylinder as well. I think the valve will remedy some of your issue but that amount of blow by sounds excessive. I wish you luck, that’s a nice sweet ride. Please share what you find out. Oh and also I say pistons as well because of low speeds and travel time, giving more opportunity for carbon build and less opportunity to burn off. Just my assumption based off the miles again. Again good luck and please report back, to help the community out.

No as far as you saying dodge is the best well that's your opinion but me and I can guarantee their are a lot of people that would have a Cummins swapped Ford truck over a slodge any day. I can run a long list of problems that all of the big 3 truck manufacturers have and dodge has the most documented problems then Ford ( and I a Ford fan) and the truck with the least amount of problems I the last few years are GM trucks and no I'm not a fan of the duralax diesel engine either. I only said mostly because I am biased and I still believe Ford makes a better truck and the fact that this video is comparing apples to oranges ( a Ford f250 non dully 4x4 and a 3500 series 4x4 dodge dully and that is just not a fair comparison) it makes all of this erealavent. @@fixitcarter I just noticed that you said you're a real Cummins guy now if you're not a Dodge guy I apologize for accusing you being one because I know there's a lot of people out there that are Cummins through and through but they don't like Dodge trucks so that may be you and if it is I'm sorry for accusing you of liking Dodge trucks if you like Dodge trucks your prerogative just cuz I don't like Dodge trucks and don't agree with that doesn't mean anything bad anyway I just wanted to add that and again say have a wonderful day my man.

      @corymitchrll2720 first off thanks bro,😆 I am a Dodge guy as well. 4 L 5 L 6 L engines are just the best on the market. Don’t tell nobody I even like their 2 L engines, I think they are some of the most reliable out there. I’ve mostly owned Chrysler and Dodge vehicles. Cummins is one of the most respectable Engines in the consumer noncommercial based segment. Mopar products are some of the most economical and robust. I don’t want to talk too much down against ford, but there is so much against them I can say about ford. The one thing I will say about them that is nice, is that they have the best chassis out there. But nice talk my guy. Have a great day as well it was a pleasure!

You should be able to comment and not get butthurt and have you know things that they don't agree on and still be cordial. Great little conversation and I enjoyed it, you have a wonderful day and I thank you for the conversation and for replying obviously we both have knowledge and obviously we both like different things but we do know what's the best and that is Cummins.

      @@fixitcarter vehicle? No. Motor? yes. Fords uses Cummins 😉, I can’t deny Cummins makes some of the best, but the current gen 6.7 PS gives them a run for their money. I got love for both lmao.

      No sir, not the engines either brother. Was Ford ever Cummins powered? Yes! Do they own them? No! Does MOPAR own them? No! But did MOPAR secure a great deal for having Cummins power there diesel vehicles? Yes! Did this give more value to the customer? Yes! Dodge builds a great engine ford doesn’t. But MOPAR still sought fit to strike a deal to bring value to the customer even though they build great engines themselves! Ford did not have this same foresight or value for its customers!

      @@fixitcarter I will agree that a bullet proofed ps 6.7 vs a bullet proofed Cummins are pretty close in all aspects of performance, you are right if you compare stock vs stock in modified the Cummins wins hands down but the dodge trucks they are in are sub par( my opinion and the fact that I have had more dodge trucks in my shop than Ford or GM so that also says a little bit about the quality of the dodge trucks other than the Cummins power plant. In all reality vehicles nowadays trucks and cars are built to be disposable so they're all to a point junk. Look at vehicles built in the 80s or earlier they were built tough with thicker metal more robust all around and if they put that much effort nowadays in the building vehicles all vehicles would be wonderful but that's not the case they are trying to make it to where people can't even work on their own cars and even some shops can't even work on their cars have to take it to the dealer that's their end goal at least in my opinion, but as they say Bear lake buttholes everybody has one lol. Anyway have a good day my man sincerely Cory

      I won’t say much here, but I will touch on the Dodges being in the shop. When you get a gas or diesel V or straight, you know what you have In mind. Work!!! People work the mess out of Dodges. I like Ford 96 on back, some people are 2006 and back. But if you had the money to send on a nice work truck only, are you getting a ford or dodge? No add ons, straight factory top trim.

      Hey bro something like that I would need to see. You could need an adjustment down at the engine. Did anything different happen? Also could be something at clutch basket. I’d take it to the shop get it diagnosed then fix it myself. In most cases if you’re having major issues , usually an adjustment won’t fix it. Usually it’s the clutch going bad, and or the clutch basket in rare cases. I have videos on adjusting at the basket and changing the clutch. Good luck, and please report back with the answers and when you make it to figuring it out. It helps the community out. Thanks for checking out the content.
