The kraken (Pj) dietary habits are the bane of my life. I am a sensible vegetarian not an extremist vegan ... Just once I would like it if the Kraken could order without giving the wait-staff a third/fourth degree interrogation and requesting substitutions. She makes it sound so reasonable where she is totally out of control when it comes to her paranoia around missing a meal. Which is an event that has never happened and if it did I am assuming she would lay waste to entire villages. I won't bore you with how I live in abject terror of a shortage of coffee and/or soy milk but you can imagine.

Do you remember how long it took from Porto to Espinho? Because in a near future I will be doing that, but from Gaia to Espinho, and I wonder if by bike or even walking it would take long... (Gaia is pretty much more close to Espinho than Porto, like some few minutes)... But I just got kinda curious... I mean, I am not really in shape anymore, but when I move out to Portugal, I plan to get a bike, and I wonder if it will be a good idea or not.

pickpockets and pick Small luggage. but just stay Cool and don't engage in talking with people in crowded area. and you're safe

WOW - pickpockets are the worse ......I once had my wallet stolen on holidays overseas ...... it effectively ruined the holiday .... yes its a non-violent crime but it still leaves you traumatized. One of the most annoying thing was all the hassle I went through was for the pickpocket to get only about 5 dollars American. Still I lost all my cards and licenses, thank god he didn't get my passport as well. Just an additional warning/caution .... I look like a bit of a tramp on holidays, so no one is safe, they are just looking for a easy target.
