Could have been a great game!

Never seen this before!. Great animation for the genesis but gameplay is...a new take I guess

I actually entered this contest. I didn't go to the finals, but I was one of the nominated folks who got something else. I talked to a guy on the phone and told him, "I liked when Knuckles got zapped." (Referring to the scene where Knuckles tries to get the Master Emerald back) The guy told me I could have any Sega game of my choice; I chose Cyborg Justice. A week later, it showed up at my doorstep along with a signed issue of the Archie comic (I believe it was round Knuckles' introduction.) Cyborg Justice was hard AF, but I beat it after practicing. My mom gave away the signed comic years later; I got so mad at her. ~ Daniella

Let’s make Sonic fast! And have massive sprites so there’s less screen room, and let’s not add a panning camera because that would be good game design. Shouldn’t we add more than 21 levels? Nah, let’s just flood 4 of the stages and force the player to wait for everything! And add a speed cap to Sonic so a game about running fast is physically impossible! Also let’s only focus on the graphics and music so the commercials look more appealing! Let’s also force the player to wait for everything because we don’t want them to have too much fun. Then let’s add 6 colored rocks to the game and force the player to keep all their rings that they lose all of the moment they take damage! So they can only get 10 chances! It’s gonna sell millions!

this game could have saved the dreamcast and someone should release it for the dreamcast and yes i still play mine everyday

I think there is still hope for this with the new console Sega will be releasing along with a bunch of re-makes!

I remember playing Sonic and Knuckles funny in 94 plenty in 94 but I didn't see this special after all I was barely in elementary school😂 what cool footage though

Since the Sega CD uses no copy protection, I was able to burn a copy of this game on CD-R easily.

I don't know if this is the same upload I used to watch 10 years ago, but it was this performance, and a few others like Phantasy Star 3, Afterburner 2. I remember thinking it was so awesome seeing the keyboard player just start dancing when he wasn't playing. Absolutely love it.
