I have replaced the chain tensioner on a 2004 A4 1.8t because it failed but the big problem was that afterwards the oil pressure warning kept coming on, well it's very important to make sure that you have the proper oil pressure. and I found the issue even though I have changed the oil the succión of the oil pump pulled the debris to clogged up the oil pump strainer.

this was a 2012 Elantra 2.0 and the engine went to limp mode. the engine was preventing damage to the catalytic converter. because it would not go to closed loop. through OBD2 you could see o-l fault. btw there were no codes.

Buenas tardes brother espero estes bien y ver si me puedes hechar la mano pasa q tengo un jetta mk4 1.8t 20v standard 2003 con baja presión de aceite se checo con manómetro y esta entre 7 y 8 psi en ralenti una ves q se calento el motor, el motor se ajusto completo se le puso bomba de aceite oem, y sigue con baja presión de aceite se prende el testigo una ves q baja de 10 psi.
@@fernandoescamilla4405 checa tu cedazo y otra cosa que el actuador del tiempo variable se daña y puedes perder mucha presión por ahí
for get about trying get the latch to lock in to start with , get the sleve and as you move it round slowly you will feel it suddenly go in about 3mm at that point ITS NOT fully home you have to push it in another 3mm it will feel like its not budging but youve GOT to find a way to push it in that extra bit , the key is to have pressure even all round not just at the top or bottom , ive got really small hands so i could get 3 fingers on the bottom part and 3 fingers on other hand on top part , its hard esp if your lying down on your back coz you dont have a lift, REMEMBER getting it in the first 3mm is key then you know theres another 3mm to go TO much is made about the locking latch if youve got the part ive just explained right the locking latch will slide up no problem . SOMETIMES the locking latch will slide home even if you only pushed the sleve in 3mm but youll know you did it wrong az soon az you put key in ignition it will say gearbox fault restricted mode becouse the pins and connecter arnt fully mated.

Hello, good video! I have an 1.8T with new oil pump, filter, crankshaft and bearings but i have no oil pressure, do you think its possible its the chain tensioner? I dont know what else to check… Thanks!
You might have an internal leak.

@@radionovsfishing5872 I stopped the project for a while, but after all the changes that I have mentioned, I think the only spot where it can lose oil pressure is through the camshafts.

It's was leaking boost/ vacuum a little bit of oil.

Fuel pump is in tank with steel tanks and have three fuel line ports on filter. You have to remove pump to get at filter. Replace pump at same time as filter. Cut plastic hoses at fuel pump module while you are at it to get pump out of way. Also make sure you have the right pump. Metal tank has all different equipment inside. If you remove fuel it will be gentler on your skin. ENJOY!!

Saludos. Tengo un problema con un optra estandar. El pedal del clutch se pone duro después de un tiempo de uso, al principio funciona normal después de un tiempo de ir haciendo los cambios se pone duro. Ya le cambiaron la bomba principal del clucth, el clutch y el problema sigue igual, me dicen que podría ser la bomba inferior del clucth. No se esto sería el problema. De antemano agradezco tu ayuda.

Not necessarily, now if you're using an aftermarket one. Expect that to happen I know the oe is about 1000.00 dollars.

Add me to the "same" list. I got a 2011 x5 xdrive35i and when you look at the spark plugs you can clearly see that something's not right with 5 & 6. I changed spark plugs recently and thought the #6 plug was going to snap, thankfully it came out but that whole area is rusty. Been dreading going back and messing with anything involving the rear engine compartment since I had to replace my valve cover. I tell ya, I never knew that I had to become a BM-Double-U mechanic to try and figure out what's wrong with it. I mean it's pretty but DAMN!! I do need to replace the injectors though, thanks for the video dude... about the best one that I've seen so far and it's actually the same as mine. 👍

Well, i have the same issue, it burns my 40a fuse, so i changed, raised the car but after finishing raising the relay clicks and the compressor stops for 2-3 seconds and then it starts again. from 8psi it goes to 13psi till it burns again the fuse…..do i have to check anything else? cuz i don’t understand why it’s starting again after 3 sec? can u help me?
Most likely your compressor is bad I don't show it on this video but I replaced the compressor that suspension works at a lot higher pressure than 8 psi Blowing up a 40 amp is no joke, yet you might also have a leaky air valve, air spring or line. Where in the world are you?
Romania. i have no leak at all, car is now without that fuse and it doesn’t lose pressure, i checked all the valves, hoses, level sensors….i swapped the relay….i have to try with a new compressor
I’m stuck in the same dilemma with #5 and #6. Both injector heads snapped. Had no luck with the slide hammer. I’m going to try an air hammer next. I was able to cut M7 threads on the stem with a die. I’m going to screw on some nuts to get a grip and hopefully pry them out. Will see how it goes. This will be plan B.
Don't waste your time just weld a nut it to it. And use a slide hammer again... What ever you're thinking about it's only gonna make matters worse. Because you'll create more metal shavings.

Thanks. Reprogramming make it expensive... and I also read the ECUs from the same "type" of engine used to match. I don't know. I got a 2001 V70 S and it starts to show wearing signs... after it got replaced already once, as it completely stalled 10 years ago.

No just an adaptation but first you have to do the brake fluid service and flush.

You are the fuckin' man, just struggled my ass off trying to replace mine. Spares shop also gave me this different version. Could not find my torx set and had to do it with all covers on😂
