This is some cool stuff! Much wowzers! 😊
Not even close to as advertised. I'd be trying to get my money back, either through the company or through my credit card. Absolutely a complete scam and completely unacceptable.
Yup; basically the same as my experience. Like, I wouldn't mind that much, if they were actually honest. Because at least for me, the prices were pretty good. They could get a fair amount of business just.... selling cheap dice. Not being up-front is what gets me. Oh well; there's always going to be someone out there trying to pull stuff like this.
Brilliant ! I m organising a dnd escape game for my wedding, i ll definitely will make one per table ! I ll watch tour other vidéo to pickq other Ideas 😄 Thanks you 👍
DM me on instagram @black_gauntlet_tavern , I have a wedding gift for you.
Great video deserves a lot more views❤
Is it legal to be this nice on the internet?
Love the project! One recommendation that I have is to use some image stabilization in your video editor to remove the shaking camera.
I made the mistake of using a mini tripod on the table not realizing how much I like to pound my fists on the table like a dictator, a lesson learned!
@@theblackgauntlettavern8133 No problem! Looking forward to future crafts.
I saw just the thumbnail and thought that was so insanely cool.
Love this idea - though I think if I do this I may add the "+2" reminder to the back of the tag.
I think I’m adding the same myself, along with the rest of the potion formulas
Awesome project! Freaking love the idea. Nice work.
Thank you! I love a container roller for frequently used items.
Better to have the nipple in the middle, IMHO
The many nippled man speaks
Unhesitatingly cites Redditt, refuses to cite Twitter. I guess that's all I need to know about this particular enjoyerofothermens'buttholes.
Tried to buy into something like this once. Had a bunch of nice deals; spent about $200 on all sorts of goodies. They DID eventually arrive, but.... not as promised. Many of the "stone" sets of dice were cheap acrylic sets that BARELY looked like what was promised. A display case was the wrong size, didn't come with an insert, and lacked the text on the front. I tried to reach out to customer support. I was ghosted. Not only that.... the website disappeared a couple of days later. Obviously, this was a scam; closeup shop & leave before anything can be done. Thing is, tho; I'd saved all the original webpages. I had proof of what was promised, and photos of what I received. And I'd used PayPal to make the purchase. I filed a complaint with PayPal, and provided HEAPS of evidence. I had, as the phrase goes, the receipts. It was going to take a couple of weeks for PayPal to review the case. It was so egregious, the conflict was resolved in a couple of days. 90% of my money was refunded (a few of the products WERE as promised, and thus I didn't include them in the claim), and I got to keep all the cheap sets of dice that were sent to me, free of charge. I'm not saying someone should do this. As you said; if it's too good to be true, it probably is. But IF (and this IF is huge as a Tarrasque) someone decides to do something this reckless... it is absolutely IMPERATIVE to keep all records, and have some manner of recouping lost costs. Good luck on your venture; I'm keen to find out how this unfolds.
Amazing breakdown - if anything shows up, this is what I expect (trash). I have a feeling best case scenario some very poorly made import dice arrive. Worst case: I’ve got nothing but time to call PayPal al day
I play this system with friends when half of our group doesn't show up for DnD. So the DM can get some rest from the serius campaign. I am currently working on expanding possible scenarios. Like to complications i will add baby dragons that will tell their mom if the see something they don't like.
These goblins and their full rumpuses would go on to kill six billion demons
Truthfully the rumpus is where the goblin power is stored
This game sounds like it would be fun for an afternoon, but it sounds like the joke this entire game is built around would get old fast.
Oh no the clap from my dumby thicc ass has alerted the guards
Depends on the group you play with I think Knowing my group, we'd have a blast with this for ages
It truly depends on the creativity of the group, but I agree - Its only coming out once in a while to keep it fresh
That PHB alt cover is trash anyway. Not nearly as good as the original. *No* *one* needs it, especially not at that price. (imo) Funny thing you mentioned, tho. I guess making books covers is a lost art these days, along with handwriting, spelling, and math. Wonder if they'd even recognize a pencil sharpener? *sigh* I'm old. Guess I'll go look for a sidewalk couch. Good idea. Thanks. Also, yes. Read the PHB. Or is that a lost art too?
I adore those classic ‘bolted to the desk’ crank pencil sharpeners. The best point and the most satisfying feeling.
This showed up in my feed again. and I did not remember it right away. Sadly, can only like it once. I also do not recall unsubscribing, so resubbed now. Keep up the great content.
Kindest thing I've been told all day! Thanks!
That a great idea, thanks
Very good idea! i 'll use it for my tavern too :)
I hope yours has higher ceilings than mine. My tall platers bonk this all the time
Wow! Finally a good use for coffee. Also char marks are cool and add character. :) Some interesting ideas here, and an entertaining video.
Nice! I really like the effect it would have on establishing a truly magical atmosphere and environment.
Thanks! I think a larger scale would be a really nice accent to any fantasy environment!
This really cool! Can really just bring someone right in!
Apparently soy sauce makes a great dye for aging paper too. I haven't tried it yet, but I saw it on another video a while back form another channel.
I’ll have to try it on the next handout!
But more importantly, I still can't believe how good this comes out, so simply.
I too live in a home of liars
What them pixels do
If your torch isn't DMX controlled, please don't apply to my adventuring party. TY.
Also I use cheap vodka in my airlock. Some times the liquid gets sucked into the fermenter and regular water getting in could lead to lactobassilus infecting your mead, making it sour. But vodka is sanitary and will keep that from happening and also won’t poison you like other sanitary liquids.
I haven’t heard this before but I’m definitely going to try it!
A couple of notes from someone who brews a lot. You would benefit from a wine yeast or ale yeast as it will ferment cleaner. Also when you add your citrus, you would be better to add the zest and, if you wanted to, the meat of the fruit. The important thing is to exclude the pith or white part of the citrus as it imparts an unpleasant bitterness.
For this one I wanted to follow the recipe of “non specialty” ingredients, but this recipe could use some elevation per your excellent suggestions
Personally, I think this movie was just awesome HOWEVER...I DO agree that it didn't give Chris Pine a chance to show what D&D Bards were TRULY capable of. But given the fact that Honor Among Thieves came out around the same time as the accursed OGL debacle, I see this as the movie's crew not having permission to show off Bard Magic in the movie
Couldn’t agree more on this take, making a film on something that is such a personal experience as dnd is hard but I think it was well done.
@@theblackgauntlettavern8133 Agreed and the biggest complaint people used against this movie was always the whole "emasculating the male leads" thing. If those people actually PLAYED D&D before, they would know that even male heroes aren't always tough and cunning
I'd Personally would have just taken a torch and a wire brush to antique the wood and make the grain pop out. it would also save on time too
That’s a fantastic idea, the reason I went hand held like this is I didn’t have the ventilation for a setup like that and also I didn’t think of it! I might revisit with the torch though….
Cool! How do you get the spent fruit out of the jug?
Yeah man, let me know because I got my hand stuck in my jug trying to get the fruit out
Please go to your local record establishment and purchase the record “jump up calypso” by Harry Belafonte and you shall know
Looks good!
The first try came out good so I set the bar high!
so simple, i love it!
Trying to get kids interested in ttrpgs. Definitely need to give this a shot

Glad you enjoy! You can definitely take it further, and get more detailed. Hobby shop basing materials are also a great addition!

Big Toots and Large Fruits
I love handouts. My process is a bit simpler. I use regular printer paper, and black tea because it's what I have on hand. No need for a foam brush, I just let the paper soak thoroughly in it - tearing is rarely a problem. Sometimes I leave the tea bag sitting on it to make a darker splotch. Then I let the paper dry in the dish rack or on a cookie sheet. I like how yours looked coming out of the oven. I'll try that next time. Thanks for the tips. Love your setup. Jealous that your DM sent you a three page lore drop!
Normally I would use tea as well, but I found the saturation of the coffee works a little faster and keeps the paper from becoming totally soaked; that being said I also have no patience so I go overboard with any of it
Ummm, they make parchment colored printer paper, saves you a whole lot of time you can spend on weathering the page
But buying things is so much less fun than making it exactly how you want!
Did you think about making the window for the logo with a wider seam allowance so you could roll the edge? Or would that have made the cover too thick?
Both the covers in the cover photo have been made with the least amount of drafting and planning possible. Some roll would definitely make it better!
Honestly, I was dreading the orange for a long time until I made dandelion orange mead last spring (using about a liter of dandelion petals and 2 oranges). The fermentation was super vigorous and I was racking it after a month and a half at which time it was, well...disgusting. Opened a bottle of it for the New Year, 7 months after the first racking and it's amazing! One of the top 5 I ever made, although I prefer red berry meads. After seeing this, guess it's finally time for the ol' JAOM! I'll use the wine yeast and the yeast nutrients tho, lol!
Without that minimum 8months of a aging you’ll definitely a bad time! I haven’t looked into shelf life however, I know other country wines or fruit wines need 6 months aged, but really are only shelf stable for 1 year.
Matt Mercer meets Binging with Babish!
I'm 𝑑𝑒𝑓𝑖𝑛𝑖𝑡𝑒𝑙𝑦 𝑛𝑜𝑡 trying to lure him over to my neighborhood to play DND with us. Not a chance...
@@theblackgauntlettavern8133 😆😂
I have a mead in primary right now made with Orange blossom honey that will hopefully finish dry. I'm going to try this recipe of yours next since it looks tasty.
Awesome! This finishes with a bit of sweet but not like some of the commercial stuff. Also I recommended reading the exact recipe, it’s a good laugh
I’ve only had mead once in my life…. I remember drinking it while examine the bottle and admiring how different it is!! It’s interesting… Shortly after the bottle was empty 😢
It’s a peculiar flavor, but I agree the bottle seems to have a hole in it….
Yo nice looks delicious
Yo, whattup big chungus, welcome to the party zone
I just tear my printer paper into quarters and write wanted posters, requests, and notices on them along with a corresponding picture. I use the same method for making fake Polaroid photos as if I’ve captured a special moment in the characters’ lives. (Magic.)
I love the Polaroid idea and I’m definitely going to use it in the future! My players will think I just want a fond memory….then the fun starts
@@theblackgauntlettavern8133 Nice; glad I shared the idea. 📸😁
