    You call Recall "a feature"? It is an actual spyware alongside with Copilot AI.

  • @lurkerrekrul
    @lurkerrekrul 18 дней назад

    I think Recall is a perfect example of why Microsoft is an untrustworthy company. Why can you only deactivate recall and not uninstall it? What is the point of forcing users to keep it on their systems if they're not using it? Because if they allowed users to uninstall it, they wouldn't be able to re-activate it at a later date. And really, you're not actually "disabling" Recall, since that implies that you're crippling its ability to run, when all you're doing is turning it off. A simple setting that Microsoft can change any time they feel like it. I have a question for you: Would you give me unrestricted access to your own, personal computer, to change it in any way that I see fit? Would you let the manufacturer of your car make changes to it without your permission? If your answer to either question is no, why are you OK with letting Microsoft do exactly that to your computer? I honestly don't understand why everyone has just accepted the idea that total strangers at Microsoft should have complete, unrestricted access to change your computer in any way they like, and there's nothing you can do about it.

    • @markwilliams3141
      @markwilliams3141 18 дней назад

      Yep. My thoughts exactly. Who in the hell trusts Microsoft when they prove over and over again that they are untrustworthy. Windows has evolved into nothing more than a spyware platform. I would have dumped them years ago for Linux (and I really hate Linux) but I want to run Windows apps, mostly games. So, I'm in a constant fight with Microsoft, tuning off or uninstalling the never ending torrent of crap "features" that come out with each update.

    • @camberwellcarrot420
      @camberwellcarrot420 18 дней назад

      @@markwilliams3141It seems like, if there were a legitimate demand for a "feature" like Recall, some private vendor would already be offering it. Although they probably couldn't, because anyone else attempting to do what MS is doing would be stopped by security restrictions and security software. This stuff may be the final straw for me and Windows, at least for my personal use.

    Microsoft can be ordered by the government to transmit the data it's collected (you have to assume copilot can be switched on remotely) and, if caught, the U.S. government will retrospectively protect MS from prosecution, as was done with telecom companies when it was discovered they were hoovering up everyone's data. Obviously, MS isn't going to collect the data of hundreds of millions of people (quite yet), but it opens the door to surveilling specific targets and groups. This is the NSA's holy grail - what it's always wanted!

I call it virus because it behave like a virus you can't remove and it store and capture your data to SPY on you and sell it for profit. What more bullshit you can ask from SCUMSOFT parasites. People ask for PRIVACY and FREEDOM but they push what you do not ask for. I am so happy with my stripped windows 10 from 2019 and blocked all updates to prevent SCMSOFT to return their crap to my computer. I have very fast OS without least 40 crap from SCUMSOFT that I removed. It can operate on 2 core processor with 4gb ddr3 memory laptop that have crap processor and if you update anything you cant use it because SCUMSOFT crap will slow it down. So my RYZEN is EVEN FASTER with that win10 than ANY other with NEW CRAPY W11 24H2. or W10 23H2. What SCUMSOFT did is that they made SHIT OS 11 and polished to smokescreen that they did something good for you but it is still SHIT OS 11.

I’m a little worried because iv not been out of the house in almost 4yr because I can’t have a covid vaccine because of health issues so iv gotta do everything online, shopping, doctors and hospital medication orders on line, utility bills and council tax. Everything is done online! But I’d have better speed and it would be £16.50 a month cheaper than BT who I’m with now, Oh, and the pole is actually in my garden about 3m from the side of my house! Hi there! It's wonderful that you're considering Youfibre for your internet needs. In the videos, you can see that most of the installation work is done outside, which I am sure Youfibre is the same. However, when it comes to connecting the router, a technician will likely need to come inside. Rest assured, they'll likely follow all necessary safety protocols, including wearing masks, to ensure your protection during the installation process. Feel free to reach out to Youfibre's customer support for more specific details tailored to your situation. Best of luck with the switch, and stay safe! Cheers!

I’ve got a very comfortable kitchen to sit in, so no worries there, it’s just that I’ll need all the information off the bottom of the router so I can Connect to the internet for everything like shopping, cctv cameras and paying bills. Only thing I can think of is if he puts the box on its side at the door so I can take a photo of all the info I’ll need to connect. And also worried about the reliability of this new provider?
