Maybe they can have it at goodwill
Doubt it. That tape is really hard to find.
The same thing happened to me with My Sanyo Combo
I mainly use Peach and Yoshi for 100cc, 150cc, and Extra.
It is pretty funny when they get hit with the lightning bolt. The high pitched voices are hilarious.
Nice
Hey man thanks for this video. Is the splitter for the av cables necessary or optional? 6:06
awesome collection. im 29 & its still my favorite cn show & always will be. my brother & i r twins & i got the whole series box set 4 our birthday three years ago! i shouldve bought it when it came out back in 2009. i cant wait 4 craigs reboot
Good lord, that rail bending when it opens! That poor 1265LM. But I'm surprised its still working.
I junked this unit after I got another one.
Nice collection.
Yes they did re released the complete series dvd set.
That’s so awesome
Great video! I also have The Powerpuff Girls Movie on DVD from ebay including the 10th Anniversary boxset. The boxset I have is signed by the voice actress who played Buttercup when I met her at C2E2 in Chicago in April of this year. It's easy to find the DVD and VHS of the movie in person if you know where to look but good thing you can find them on ebay.
I saw a third Twisted Sister tape and I got so excited. I was like, "He finally found it!" Ahhh well, we'll keep looking. And I was wondering what the orange box set was the entire video. Then you opened it and I was like, "Ah yes, the VCDs." They never released those here in NA I don't think.
I'm still trying to find that one. Either it's just hard to find, or there isn't one in existence.
Awesome collection.
I have a Sylvania KVS699K VCR with that same mechanism and it works perfectly on all its original parts.
You can get around this issue with RGB SCART for 60Hz
Well, I'm in a different country so, I don't have SCART where I am at.
@@SavageGame1998 you can also modify a CRT to support it
@@netizenz7182 there are tutorials online that can help you with RGB modifying your CRT
@@netizenz7182 you talking to me?
@@netizenz7182 that's great I also heard that Component can get around this issue as well but I have nothing to test it with
i honestly opened mine up and just took the vhs out of it never discharged it but now it shuts off after a few seconds of power
The problem with all perpetual motion machines is hiding the power supply.
Don't you also need a metal bracket for the 32x to work on the model 1 genesis?
Nope! If I remember right, that’s just there to meet FCC requirements. My Genesis 1 runs it without it
No, because it actually sits flat on the model 1.
@billybobjoe4791 I thought it was just for grounding it. Hmm, the more ya know.
Un re lio con los cables! que bueno ver una consola real. Saludos
Yeah you have a cable there that isn't made correctly and is backfeeding voltage into the console from the Mega Drive. That's supremely not good and will kill regulators in the 32x.
Animo para los 1000 Ahi te sigo tambien! Exitos y que bueno es poder ver el final de este juego! Saludos
Heads up! The likely possible reason why your 32X works on your model 2 without power connected to it is that your link cable for it is made incorrectly. On the mini-dins of the Genesis and 32x there’s a 5V pin. On the link cables this 5V pin needs to be disconnected, otherwise 5V will be shoved in where it’s not meant to be shoved in. The hardware is not meant to have power come in that way and it risks damage to the system. You need to find the pinout for a Genesis model 2 cable, find the 5V pin on the link cable, and make sure it’s removed or disconnected. The reason why it doesn’t work like that on your Model 1 is because that link cable likely WAS made correctly and isn’t backfeeding 5V into anything it shouldn’t. Also, running 2 devices on an adapter made for 1 device probably isn’t good either. Might get too much current pulled if it doesn’t have enough amperage. In short, don’t do that and make sure your link cable is safe. Also, the rear output of the Model 1 only outputs mono audio, so if you’re using a stereo AV cable on your 32X, it might not output any audio since there’s no stereo pin connections. Try using the front headphone jack on the Model 1 and see if you get sound output
Bingo, I'm sure this is what is happening, because 5v isn't present on the Model 1, as the 5v is simply to power the external RF modulator that the Genesis 2 uses. This isn't good for the 32X, it's effectively putting 5v on the regulators OUTPUT.
After looking at this comment, I tried it even without the mixing cable, and the 32x is still powering on, so I doubt the mixing cable is even messing with that thing.
@@SavageGame1998 It’s still something to check. But also what? That’s… not at all normal as far as I’m aware. The model 2 I had didn’t work like that with my 32X. Something seems off. In any case it’s still very hard on the hardware to be running both systems off of one. But still as far as I’m aware the 32X shouldn’t just be working without power connector or a defective link cable powering it. I’ve seen and heard of the 32X powered by a link cable but never by a cartridge slot
@@_MasterLink_ Actually the Model 1 does have 5V out of the DIN connector. Not sure what it was used for. But I know it has it for a fact because I actually modded a Model 2 RF Modulator with a Model 1 plug since I removed the RF Modulator on the Model 1 to make room for an S-Video mod
@@SavageGame1998 The 32X must be modified then to get power from pin A31 on the cartridge port, which still isn't good, that's more current than the trace was designed for, let alone the single 7805 in the model 2 Genesis. I'd advise looking into this further, as you stated this only applied to the model 2 Genesis, yet the model 1 Genesis also provides 5v on pin A31 (or the ROM's never get power), so somethings up here. I've been modding Genesis/Mega Drives for near 26 years now, this really strikes me odd because none of my 32X's are being powered by any of my Genesis models.
Well Lucky you! 😃
I just got one of these off ebay. Works good. The eject is a little rough though.
I have: • A Charlie Brown Christmas (1996 VHS) • Rugrats: The Santa Experience (1996 VHS; 1998 reprint) • The Santa Claus (1995 VHS) • Home Alone (1991 VHS) I also did use to have The Santa Clause 2 (2003 VHS), and The Powerpuff Girls: ‘Twas The Fight Before Christmas (2003 VHS).
Super cool! Good stuff! No idea this even existed!
Hello. I just got this exact unit and it's not turning on at all. The unit looks to be in very good shape and I took the top off to see if there was anything very obvious that might be causing it but no go. I tried using the remote as well. Any ideas appreciated!
SOON, AND I Mean SOON I Will Get That Vhs Tape And FINALLY GET MY HANDS ON THAT VIDEOCASSETTE!!!!!!!!! (but the American version)
Even though I completely and truly understand you don't always have the enthusiasm to make any new videos anymore (which is why you said probably just not as much), it's nice to see you back. Anyways, that Pikachu N64 system is so cute and adorable! And it's also cool to see that U.S. imports of video game systems (like this one) CAN play Japanese and European imported games.
Thanks for the heart @SavageGamer 1998!
@SavageGamer 1998 I have a question: Can U.S. imports of video game systems (like this one) play Japanese and European imported games?
This is a Japanese imported console, and yes U.S. Nintendo 64s can play Japanese games, you just have to either cut out the tabs that prevent the Japanese imports from going in or order another tray that has no tabs at all. The same applies to the Japanese system. But as for playing European games, NO, the U.S. nor Japanese N64s cannot play PAL games.
@@SavageGame1998 Okay, and can any other different U.S. gaming systems play Japanese and European imports (now that you got the N64 part covered)?
SNES, NES (If you have a specific adapter for those small famicom cartridges): YES. Gamecube and onward: NO.

Whoa! That's awesome that you finally got Ultra Rare Pikachu N64 Console at last for the first time! 😁👍
Hey You Pikachu! is an awful and derelict game, I like Pikachu and think he’s a convivial character, but it was utilized poorly.
Since the Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius DVD you got is the reprint, what year was this reprint released in?
I just bought a Symphonic CSDV840E VCR/DVD combo. Looking forward to collecting VHS.

I’m so excited to watch this because my vcr is spitting out my tapes. I haven’t watched the full video yet but I’m crossing my fingers this is the exact thing you’re fixing 😂 also I did NOT know how to take mine apart so thank you for including that part as well.
YOu probably should be putting a cardboard down on the floor to protect it from your projects or buy a table to protect your back. :) Good job.
This video was made a month before I had a workbench made for me.
This always makes me mad.
That’s very funny.
Nice, I’ve always wanted one.
Tape destruction.
Motherboard trace damage, usually caused by leaking clock capacitors. Anyone using anything other than revision 1.6 motherboard, you need to remove your clock capacitor.
I agree with you here! My first VCR was thankfully not a Funai, instead a GE 2-Head Mono VCR from 1986. But after that, we mostly were a Funai family (with the exception of a couple Orion-made units) unfortunately. Funai did make good units - as long as you go back pre-1992 that is! I dunno if you seen Spats Bear's videos on some good 80s Funai VCRs or not but they're worth a watch if you haven't seen them! You just might be surprised!😉👌
