yea we went to whittier.. yea we went to there it was 7.2 miles. yea it was 7.2 miles..and yea.. all good. all good... Great follow-up. I believe correct me if I’m wrong but the fine print does say they may adjust the cruse itinerary. So very cool Princes seemed to go over board (pun intended) to make it right. But if you had booked excursions with other providers you probably would have forfeited any $ spent….so a good reason to purchase trip insurance. BTW do you have trip insurance?

I agree that the compensation was more than fair. And the 7 day northbound trip was still a wonderful trip even without Ketchikan, the missed hours in Juneau, and Glacier Bay.

That’s excellent airfare but I think you are able to fly out of a major airport. About same price we are paying but it’s per person. Ouch!! Lol

Yeah. Princess Majestic and the same lights. We put the couch cushions down then to block the lights and motion sensors. The one in the hall/closet was different

Abe here. We've met through FB and I am all set for the same sailing. Enjoyed meeting you on video. Weather permitting, I want to hike up Mt Robert's and probably take the tram down. Whittier has a hike that looks really inviting. The only excursions I've booked are the railroad from Skagway and a boat to Hubbard Glacier. Have never been to Alaska and this will be just my second cruise. Excited!

What is a reasonable tip for the driver? We are going in September.

Glad you are going back. Loved your ‘22 videos prepping for our ‘23 trip. Helped us a lot. Juneau did the Iditarod glacier sled dog through princess. Expensive but awesome. I think we went to the book store in Ketchikan. Found a nice map of the inside passage there. Have fun!
