Just your average guy who enjoys RUclips and occasionally uploads his own videos.
Testing some new tools from harbor freight.
Happy labor day everyone. I couldn’t pass up the deal at my local harbor freight. I will say these tools have their place but unfortunately I’m not too sure about the quality. Time will tell I’ll use these and update later this month. Thanks for watching.

Recently picked up the ”new” Ryobi PBLIW01 high torque less that $200 currently. This thing is a monster for the price !
Milwaukee tool haul on a budget

Finally splurged on some new tools! eBay is a great way to save some money on some older model tools. Also some new snap on tools as well. Thanks for watching.
A little October tinkering

Just hanging out with a good friend I decided to take some video and share the fun in the sun thanks for watching everyone. In the process of responding to all your comments soon ❤️👍🏼
They suggest you use a minimum of 5 amp battery with the impacts for best performance.
@@jamiewhite5859 oh really. Shucks. I mean the quality is there. I do fear the battery’s aren’t as high of quality as other brands. The smell 👃
The Hercules drill doesn’t sound right. Mine def sounds better than that.
I’ll have to exchange this weekend and try another
Hmm interesting. I think they’re probably OK but there’s a reason that there so much cheaper than Milwaukee. Or dewalt. One thing it drives me nuts about the Harbor freight tools is having to buy the battery and charger stuff separately like that just kind of gimmicky. But hey, if it’s all someone can afford, it’s better than nothing.
I agree absolutely not knocking someone who buys it but I’ll honestly say RYOBI is probably better 🤫.
@@NRP1991 exactly isn’t Ryobi made by the same manufacturer that makes rigid
@@IHcubcadet oh yah rigid. Hart. MILWAUKEE. RYOBI. Hoover. All a part of them. Idk who makes Hercules. Why don’t you ask china(in the trump voice)
I’ve been buying Hercules 20V tools and everything has been great. Recently picked up the 1/2” compact impact wrench and doesn’t have any issues removing 140 ft pounds on my truck lugnuts, even with the 2ah battery. Heck, even the 1/4” impact driver can do it but I almost got the 1/2” hex adapter stuck in the collet (which is why I bought the impact wrench) 😂
@@SeoulReaper yeah I don’t think i gave it a fair shot. I’m going to try it again this week at work on what I actually bought it for
Take that 3/8 impact back, sounds like it has a little rattle, least on my end.
@@TheJerzeyGuy yeah I think that suckers getting returned. It doesn’t sit right in my gut 👂
@@NRP1991 absolutely, i have a couple Hercules tools, they work great for my remodeling company. I've just started acquiring Hercules so im still putting them through their paces, but at the moment they're great. We also use Ryobi & Bauer. Great little tools for the price.
Yeah take back. Manufactures defect. That one should take that off no problem.
@@J-Colt definitely 💯
I bet the 1/4" impact briver to it from hercules
@@christianchaps9500 that one feels good at least on display it seems quality
That is a good price. That's why i picked up the Bauer high torque kit, but i probably would have gone with Ryobi if I'd have seen this a month ago. The Bauer is good and strong, though. Nice grab.
@@silentstryker1590 thanks. How’s the Bauer. Is sure looks just like a Milwaukee. It’s even red !!
@NRP1991 Hell, yes, they wanna be Milwaukee, haha. But it is a good impact, it seems.
The Hercules ultra smashes the Ryobi. ... Don't get me wrong I like Ryobi for the smaller stuff but they never make strong tools
@@rkelley8475 very true harbor freight Hercules has came such a long way for sure. Certainly been considering it
Great deal on those sockets there. I have mostly m18 stuff. One m12 ratchet. I had my older m18 1/2 impact dide out. So I got a newer one that actually smaller and has more power. I also had my m18 1/4 impact driver die out. It was like a 2014. Not sure what was up with that. But when you already have a bunch of the M18 batteries, you kind of stuck sticking with the same thing. I’m honestly not too impressed with the power of my M1 18 half-inch impact wrench. I really thought it would’ve had a little more, but maybe my batteries are a little weak. They are older
@@IHcubcadet hey man thanks for the call. I really appreciate it. Yeah I know it’s hard to get locked into one battery platform and then it’s like you are married to them. I love my M2 stuff. I don’t know. I’m on the fence with this one. It’s just so big it weighs a ton. Thanks for your comment man. Good to hear from you.
Love your videos! Keep them coming
@@wideworldwes thank you I appreciate it. It’s been a while. I need to upload some more.
Psbiw25 is a compact 1/2” with battery on sale right now. Think the guys overseas have a 3/8” version.
Oh yes there’s that model too . Then the P262 then this model. All currently have a free 4.0
Glad to see you’re back to making videos man! I’ve enjoyed them over the years
Nice tools. kinda like the slim design of the fuel 3/8. Looks like the kit on HD sight is 199 not too bad. I bought my Dad the brushed1/4 impact a while ago and he loves it. Do you find that the older brushed tools have better trigger response and or sensitivity? I feel like the newer brush less ones have a slight hesitation, especially when you are driving a screw in and are just taping the trigger. Think its just the nature of the circuitry. But yea there are some great prices on new older designed tools out there.
Thanks for watching man. Oh I agree with the feather of the trigger on the brushed tools absolutely!! I really dig the skinny design of the previous gen. The stubby has tons of power but I genuinely think that style 3/8 is super well balanced
Dang man, haven't checked your channel out in years!!! Glad to see you're still messin around
Thanks man yeah getting back into the hobby of tool world haha I suppose we all have an addiction of some sort haha
do you recommend turning them engines to horizontal?is yes how come.if no why not?
yeah it would be so much easier just to get a horz shaft instead of coverting it anyways

Them EcoTec Engines in my opinion are very good and strong engines including the non turbo version we had a SunFire with a non turbo Ecotec Engine, other than the coil pack going out that was the only major problem we ever had with it. It seems like there's more issues with the foreign-made GM cars instead of the ones made here in Canada and the US when car companies finally learn to stop outsourcing to Mexico everything will get better.
I had a 12 Cruze and loved it until my mother borrowed it and totaled it. Bought it at Greenwood Chevrolet in Austintown and they were awesome about all the the little issues it had. Also about the recalls damn near EVERY manufacturer is having tons of them Chevrolet is just the most publicized. Every Person I know of with a new vehicle that isn't a Chevy has had recalls fixed on them numerous times.
Glad you got to get out for a ride! Looked really wet in some of those places. That old Toro Snow Blower was really cool! I always like those old school Briggs engines. Thanks for the ride and update! Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Nice one. Great the see the grizz out again.
Thanks man great to be back on them
