Far from cool for Disney to be hating on Mayberry. They even talk about taking Pete fishing, which was a clear reference to The Andy Griffith Show opening where Andy would go fishing with his boy Opie. It took Don Knotts a lot longer than Dick Van Dyke to join a Disney film, and Andy Griffith never even bothered to go to Disney films. Best he would do for Disney was a Frosty Winter Wonderland album. Egomaniac Roy E. Disney perhaps thought he was enslaving Andy when that happened in 1976. The fornication hinting Fun Girls weren't exactly Disney appropriate. Elvis was also supposed to perform in Pete's Dragon setting Maine at the time of his death, but didn't make it to the Portland, Maine show. Too easy to start a conspiracy theory with that, as Pete's Dragon came out shortly after his death and was in a "decent" Maine setting. In his 1950s prime, Elvis, who never even bothered to do Disney, was even a threat to The Mickey Mouse Club. It wasn't until Michael Eisner led the company that Disney paid homage to Elvis.

I find it crazy that this movie came out the same year as the first Star Wars movie.

I would like to say this video looks like WCBS is going off the air in circa 1966.

Back when WCBS wasn't 24/7 and even didn't transmit the color broadcast, WCBS used the B&W SSB. This video is how all CBS Division Incorporated signed off back in our days. CBS 2 didn't transmit color bars in the 1960s when it goes off the air, but instead CBS 2 used any station's test patterns if they want to. I could use this as the 1960s signoff remakes with just an TV Static, including 1959, except if I used the remake of CBS Network Divisions channels going off the air. Thank you for making this film. Imagine that WTTW used that SSB with the TV static in 1967. Does anyone agree that you guys love the film? Plus, do you remember the Black and White national anthems?
