Finally got my first drone! I'm super excited about my DJI Spark. Took it out to a park here in northern Utah in between rain storms. There are no color corrections with the footage (auto everything), I just wanted to see how it would turn out. More videos to come shortly so be sure to subscribe!! This is my 1995 Polaris XLT SKS 600. When I picked it up it was I pretty rough shape cosmetically but the compression and all the other part where In okay shape. I bought It for $90. The guy thought it needed a head gasket replaced but it just ended up being a hoes clamp that was broken. It still needs a few things here and there but over all not a bad buy! Check out my other videos. Hopefully ...

The 27ft/lbs is for steel wheels. Polaris wants you to torque to 120ft/lbs for aluminum. Which is what the spacers are. On a side note, I've been running 1" spacers on my 570 for close to 2000 problem free miles.
Good video dude. I enjoyed it.
Looks great. How much does it effect the engine/clutch performance?
Acceleration is a little slower but it will get up to speed. Any bigger and I would recommend a clutch upgrade. take it all off the place including trails, dunes, and rock climbing and they have been fantastic.
@@spencerfoster okay thanks. I have same size rims on an arctic cat 500 alterra ,so maybe an upgrade to 26" instead of 27" might be better suited for me, now knowing acceleration will be effected.
Steel wheels or aluminum?
Those are just the stock steel wheels
This man deserves so much more subs and likes.
Did you have to reclutch it
Nope. It takes a little longer to get up to speed but I haven't had any issues going on 2+ years. Any bigger than 27" and I would
I just bought one I'll get it Sunday and I have the side mirrors I just wondered if it looks like
I have these in my cart, but wanted to ask before i buy them. Did they rub at all, and did you see a difference in the clutch as far as power or torque.
Was the valve shim process difficult, I'm having the same issue
It wasn't difficult. Just follow the manual and have a good set up feeler gauges. New shims are like 30 bucks.
I have a 570 with the 2 in lift and have noticed there is rubbing on my front factory tires against the lower front sway bar bolts. Is this normal? It only rubs when turning sharp as possible. To fix it should i use spacers? Remove sway bar? Thanks
How does this effect corning? do you feel like it wants to flip easier? as i ahve 2 in spacers and 2 in lift already installed, but was thinking of a CV Tech Primary before going bigger with tires, the CV Tech was amazing in my sportsman saved me tons of cash on belts.
It defiantly changed the way i approach cornering. But you adapt pretty quick. Im on my stock clutch and with the 27's acceleration is slower but it will get up to speed.
Are the tires DOT Approved?
When you removed the sway bars , did have to switch back to the factory bolts
I did for the lower bolts
Assuming the SunF tires are made in China. How has the performance and ware been on them since you have run them for about a year now?
The Tires have been great! They have held up well with what I have done with them. I do drive my RZR on the road often so they probably have worn more that way because it has locked read diff. But I have been pleased with them.
@@spencerfoster can you shift the Rzr out of rear diff lock?
@mikebilbo-cj7ex some models and years you can. Unfortunately, mine does not have that option.
I've been running a set of the SunF AO33 tires on my RZR 800 for 2 years now and absolutely love them. Fantastic deal price wize, and they seem to be a great deal quality wise as well. This year I've used them in Moab Hells, revenge, fins and things, 7 mile rim, the hook and ladder trail system with inop 4 wheel drive, and a lot of trails in the abajo mountains etc. I've got a couple hundred miles of riding in the san rafael swell, sand hollow area, and probably about the same on the paiute trail network in the mountains of central utah. Lot of riding on the sidewalls and no signifcant cuts, and no punctures so far. I normally run them at 6psi and the minor cuts were from lava beds in southern Idaho and that lava rock tends to rip tires to shreds.
Good video by the way
Did you have any wheel clearance issues on turns with the 27s? I have the same size stock tires on my 06 Ranger 500. Trying to figure out the possible clearance issue
Same issue here going 12” to 14” stud size on my 500 is smaller
Gosh I wish I saw this vid earlier
Also bro if you're having a hard time starting while it's cold it's also a problem with the throttle air position sensor!! For the doors you can use clear silicone caulking or liquid!! Okay 👍👍😊🔔🔥🙌 ❤️🤍💙🇺🇲💪
Play subscriber!!You can never go wrong with a 570 RZR lower maintenance than the twin cylinder's everything suspension Wize that fits the 800 RZR will fit the 570 RZR both are interchangeable suspension Wize anyways!! You can also get the Big bore kit for the 570 turn it to a 625 if you ever get bored of it for half the price and more power than the 800 with a good tune the 570 or 625 Big bore kit will be plenty powerful enough especially with a tune kit also a lighter UTV I've seen the 625 outrun Artacat 700 wildcats in racing altered all terrain race tracks on RUclips!! Blowed my mind!! I have a 570 and I would never trade it in for anything bigger!! Seriously just my opinion also for the affordability!!! 100% reliable!! Fun all day everyday of the week and weekend!! 👍👍👍👌
Súper awesome video. I’m trying to choose between 2012 Polaris Razr 570 or Honda Pioneer 500. Honda are absolutely the best but I found a 2012 Polaris rzr 570 for $3000 and the Honda Pioneer 500 is for $7500 . Is those Polaris Rzr a reliable UTV??
I been a Polaris owner since 1986. IF you drive a Polaris product with common sense and perform regular maintenance on OEM schedules they will last years. But if you abuse your offroad vehicles I will guarantee you will spend money repairing them. I have a 2019 Polaris 900 EPS Trail 50 with 3009 miles and 300 hours. The only money I spent on it was gasoline and schedule maintenance (oil&filter, air filters). Still original drive belt. Never brought back to the dealer for anything. It is highway legal and many miles at 55-62mph. Treat your machine with respect and they will last for years... as any machine would under the same circumstances. Stay off the rocks and out of the mud pits.
Why didn't you hook the front sway bar link back to the shock like you did in the back? Would that correct the length of the link?
I’ve had the same windshield on my 570 for 2 years now. Works great. A few scratches but does the job. 👍
Are they true to size? I’m reading that they are about an inch shorter than what they are listed for
I have found that they are
Are you running wheel spacers??
In the this video I wasn't. However I am now. Im working on a video now about them.
Did these rub with no lift? And do they rub with a lift?
Not that I experienced.
great video!
Just got a 96 xp800 with the 797. Can't wait to get it in the water
787
what is your trim position?
Mainly flat. I trimmed it to the top towards the end
Good video. I did the same with my '19 RZR 570. I also added 1" HiLifter spacers all around and RT Pro springs. The spacers will help stability. The upgraded springs prevent a lot of body roll.
Carbs sound good!
Yeah mine starts first pull after I ran it before the video started 😁
Seadoo has a recall on the gas tank they WILL honor it get it replaced also replace the rectifier in tank speedo will work BEST SKI EVER ENJOY 👍
Good stuff man! Just picked up a stock 2013 570 rzr and thinking of doing bigger tires and lift like you. Did you feel a loss in power with the 27'' tires?
It's totally worth it. It a little slower from a dead stop but i honestly have not had an issue with it. Anything bigger then 27" tires will mostly need a clutch kit
@@spencerfoster that’s great to hear you have any rubbing issues?
@@mattdekock9987 Nope! Been perfect.
@@spencerfoster sweet!
You can tune the clutch so it’s not as noticeable with the big tires.
Nice ski, 👍😊Has the wear ring been replaced?
What brand lift?
If you lift it you need to put wheel spacers on it because it will tip more.
FYI…check the toe-in on the front. My 2012 had original tires…and the were worn terrible inside (feathered). Set your toe….save those new tires.
After installing the new tires that was the first thing that I did! The toe was quite off, Especially after installing the 2"lift
nice skii . i used to race that back in 96, if you want a free extra 200 rpm or so route away some of the water / coolant going to the exhaust pipe. the coolant line right next to the big round clamps joining it togt=ether. why not jet it down simple, grass will clog a tiny jet but if you route water away you still effectively heat up 2 skrooke pipe and change harmonic thus increasing rpm. enjoy. best i had mine w all the 4 grand worth of mods was 61 mph in florida elevation.
nice video very informative. Thanks!
I know you have not had this installed very long but, any issue yet? I want to lift my 570 as well. Trying to find the right lift and wheel spacer combo. Thanks!
My wife and I love it! Defiantly worth it. We ended up removing the front sway bar and tightening the preload in addition to adding the lift and it's amazing what we can do on it now. Im working on another video talking about how the lift kit and sway bar removal made everything so much better! I probably have around 150 miles on the lift now
@@spencerfoster Thanks for the reply! Subbed so I can keep up.
That thing is faster than 50mph. My 96 spx (same x4 hull, 717 so no rave valves) does 54mph with less than 5 gal in the tank.
That's good to know. It might have been how the conditions were that day. Or the elevation im at. If I remember I had to trim down a bit to keep myself from skipping around. I will have todo another speed run on a calm day.
My 2015 570 came with a 2” lift already installed. I didn’t like it. Way to top heavy and felt like it was always going to fall over. Ended up removing it. Also installed 1.5” wheel spacers. But my son and I do a lot of higher speed ATV trails and like to drift around corners. You may also want to put a clutch kit in to regain your power from installing taller tires.
This was the best PWC of 90s even into the 2000s imo. Had one years ago and sold it and regretted it ever since so I ended hunting high and low and finally getting me another one last year in excellent condition... you got a nice one man. Keep it. Even if the motor goes out completely it is very affordable to have them replaced with rebuilt engines. Yours looks to be in great condition too. Also, you said you were going 47-48 mph. This thing came out of the factory with a top speed of 58
Definitely will hang onto it for a long time! Might be the altitude am at. Plus I wasn't on the smoothest of lakes so I had to trim it down a bit which holds it back bit, But still a blast. I have a bunch of issues with my '95 xp that I'm still working through but this '96 is a champ!
Hi guys I just offered someone $1,500 for one thats how I came across this video
Nice Machine! Great work
Awesome machine! Check the speedometer wheel for your Speedo problem, the wire that’s on them tends to get broken in two
Sweeet! Great condition XP . Can't wait to take my one out for the first time.
Beautiful bike! I have a '72 and I love it as well.
Nice vid. Can't wait to see more!
For $90 bucks you darn near stole it. Haha.
You guys are meant for each other!
