How deep are you finding them under Rock ledges, I started digging one and found some wood ash but not points yet

I use the basemap app to help me remember my locations. It's also quite a helpful tool in the field if you have cell service

Put them in vinegar for about 4 or 5 hours and all that calcium deposit will be gone. I guarantee it won’t hurt them. Done it many times myself. That’s a nice overhang you found probably much more out in front of it. Good luck

If you have access to go back and sift there, i imagine youll find a plethora of artifacts.

Laying on top untouched for 8-9,000 years a moldy cave crusted heavily used Big Sandy Broad Base!!! That’s a killer find so is the bifricate!!! Doesn’t look like that shelter has been touched…. Find of a lifetime if you excavate it correctly.. Good luck..

Where are you located....out west somewhere. Black obsidion arrow head. I find some here that the Cherokee traded for. We have them up to 10,000 years old until 200 years old on this property.
