Q is The best love him
Sooooo this turned out to be some kind of commercial for the pharmaceutical company??? I don't care how bad your condition is, medication is not the answer, if you have to fight tooth and nail through your condition til it kills you fine, but doing it with drugs or medication is an abomination to life and defeats the entire purpose of life its self.
This is good stuff, I ll link to this video from my mental health newspaper.
Eh, why are the two women so beautiful? <3
This explained psychosis very well. It really should be used for media coverage of the illness. It is the only form of mental illness that when it starts to happen you are not aware of it When you feel depressed you are aware, when you feel anxious you are aware but when you slip into a psychosis you have no idea what is happening to you. I think early intervention programs are great but they don't always work, you can still slip into a psychosis without anyone being aware of what is happening to you. Medication does not necessarily prevent a psychosis from happening again. It is a devastating illness which is why so many people with mental illness end up homeless. I have worked as a support worker to sufferers of mental illness and I am so glad that things have come a long way since the bad old days where there was not a lot of support.
go fuck yself

Lovely film, I found the art room helpful when I was in hospital. Wish we could have done something like this.
That comment had no text, why'd it get a like
I seem to be hearing two videos at once. Which is strange for me.
Brilliant stuff. Synapse Theatre are soon to put on a play about one young woman's experience of acute psychotic episodes. Do follow us @SynapseTheatre for updates! Nice for people to know they are not alone.
A brilliant video. And so courageous of the young service users to be so open about their experiences. Well done guys, you should take massive pride in your contribution to the journey towards reducing the social stigma surrounding mental health :)
Love the sensitive nature images Love the personal statements of lived experience Not so keen on the provider power disparities
Hi Julie, thanks for watching and leaving your feedback. We appreciate it. Just wondered if you could elaborate a little on the 'provider power disparity' comment? I'm not sure I understand.
Very helpful sharings..Thank you so much!
That was excellent.
Great! Im going through my own set of mental health difficulties and could identify with all three subjects here-- very encouraging, Thanks for making this!
That's heartwarming to hear, I'm touched it could help a little and that you can identify with some of the offerings. Makes it all worthwhile.
A fresh and comprehensive coverage. Very youth and family focused. Well done!
Thanks for you kind words :)
your profile picture made me giggle. It's really sweet!
Your a talented fellow...I enjoy your expression ... I wish I had your talents with computers...I'm am old photographer who learned with film and now seem forced into computer technology. Your work is inspiring..
Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. I really do appreciate it, very nice of you. I may be mid a mid 20 year old but I still learnt and have great respect for film. In my college days I fell in love with the darkroom and I went out of my way to study film at a university that still used real film. Although I still think there is something mysteriously unexplainable to the look of film, I have to use digital. Money, size, speed and adaptability being the deal breakers. If I could still cut and splice manually and achieve the same results as using the computer, believe me I'd be there. I'm not a natural technician by any means, but I won't let the computers out smart me. Don't let anything stand in the way of your vision, whatever process you take. After all, if an idea is strong enough and it's believed in, it will shine through any obstacle. I used to get so frustrated with computers but an old teacher once said to me, "a computer is only as smart as the person using it". Though not always the case, from that day, I felt challenged to conquer my frustrations. Don't let them win Charles, humans will always be the primary and most effective artistic force, however powerful computer technology becomes. Keep shooting, thanks again, take care and good luck. John
Awesome..good job..your a true artist..Charles Antony
