Raising the Roof!

New house construction Some pretty impressive building work- topped off, so far, with the capping of the circular stairs. Impressive that the carpenters could work on such a narrow space so high up. One of them yelled "Lift off!" when the crane started- giving the idea. :-)
The Grand Hotel Dining Experience

We ate at the famous Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, a lovely place...but food was delayed making us feel like our cat Charlie awaiting dinner, we were not pleased & Joe almost turned into the Hulk! However, a lovely setting & the rest of our visit & other meal was great. Video features classic "elevator music".. a parody. Music: Theme From A Summer Place- from Greatest Movie Themes; A Well Res...

Ed Fuller family in Arnold Tice movies

Ed Fuller family in Arnold Tice movies. These are made from 1950's movies from Arnold Tice- forgive the red blurs & pixilation- they were transferred from 8 mm to VHS then copied to another VHS & finally digitized. Many scenes were nearly black- but I have corrected them as much as possible. Hope I have names & dates right! :-) Also shows some of Mabel Larsen Fuller's cousins & ancestors.
Alan Tales Pt 1 for Amanda

A bit about the early life of Alan Tice, and 3 family stories of kid shenanigans. As told for daughter Amanda.Early life of Alan Tice & sibling crazy stories. Keep in mind: we all have done goofy things as kids & this is meant in NO disrespect at all- In fact, in Joe's family, these sibling teasing stories are cherished & laughed about all the time. I myself have done plenty of dumb kid things-...

Is it a gurantee to see clouded leopard if I join the backstage pass? And what did you attend? Is it the Crazy about cats tour? Or the animals in action experience tour?
I would have got up, and walked out. f them!
The cat cut ins made me laugh, 😄thanks!
Michael Jackson ❤️❤️
This entire video is a farce. We have been staying at the Grand every year for the past 10 years, never, ever, have we waited. It is a first class restaurant and hotel.
Lovely location and setting. It DID take hours to dine, very long wait even for a starting cocktail, painfully long wait for entree. Wait staff seemed almost non existent in our area-as others in our area noted also. After waiting 20 min for after dinner coffee, we followed others in serving ourself from the coffee station in our area as no waiters about. Not a good experience, glad the rest of our stay had other evening activities/options. Breakfasts were OK. Perhaps there was a late August staff shortage. Never had this problem at other grand historic places such as the Greenbrier, or the Biltmore hotels. Glad your experiences have been good.
Which hotel do we choose can anyone has idea
Murray hotel
Windermere hotel.
@@erics8524 that's where my friend and I are staying...
Such an expensive restaurant and very "below standard" wait staff. To pay such good money and get "boarding house" like service is a sin. Were you to pre-tip the Maitre 'D for good basic service? That's like Las Vegas ! Yes, I would have gotten the coffee and desert cart myself. And left a 5 dollar tip.
no tipping allowed at Grand Hotel- but these servers come in for summer through Fall then leave - not their fault. Going back soon after 26 yrs - We will do the lunch buffet so you can help yourself to all that instead of ordering from menu. This was a funny video.
I freaking love owls

Lol I would have gotten coffee myself also that place is horrible and expensive
No its not. Youre just cheap and tacky
Thats because, obviously, you are not used to class. Please stay with your roadside diners instead of coming back to this magnificent island.
All info recorded from the San Diego Zoo handler.... she is in charge of these gorgeous animals. Might want to inquire or ask them directly. zoo.sandiegozoo.org/
Are you sure they have tail length more than the snow leopard
"This is a real Leopard!" FALSE! The name is misleading. Clouded Leopards - Neofelis Nebulosa - DON'T belong to the genus of Panthera, where the (real) Leopard belongs to. Neofelis, courrently just represented by Neofelis Nebulosa (Clouded Leopard) and Neofelis Diardi (Sunda Clouded Leopard), are spezies of a sister genus to the Panthera. The Formosa Clouded Leopard (Neofelis Nebulosa Brachyurus) was last seen 1983. It may be extinct today. The fur pattern at this one indicates it as Nebulosa. The Diardi looks nearly the same with some small darker spots in the "clouds" (which are also slightly smaller) making it look a little darker and more "leopard-like" in generell.
Harzer Hamster actually Snow Leopards are Panthera Uncia but they are not "real leopards". Their closest relative is the tiger but I get what your saying.
Can’t change the music now...
The music doesn't help.
Good job
My wife and I have been to the Grand Hotel three times now since 2008. We have never experienced a long wait time to be served. Almost before we even sit down, the waiter staff is at our table placing the napkins on my wife's lap. The bar staff is usually circulating around and all one must do is raise your hand a few inches to get their attention. We must give the staff a 10-star rating.
I did this and it was way easier to just make a dip or hollow spot in damp sand and then lay the leaf in it and fill with concrete...I made stepping stones with them.
Great idea!
So helpful, thank you!
puduugam samayl
muito bonito o trabalho. mas o video é muito longo
...please DO NOT put the collar on them! >:( >_< <3
Right? I mean it needs to be under control but a harness would be a lot safer for the cat.
probably :-(
Wie kann ich die Beiträge auch in deutsch hören
Educational... but the music is taking away from what you trying to teach and it's very disappointing.
Nice job, this is one of the better tutorials on leaf vastngpppp
Serious video going to try to cast in plaster and then attempt to make Latex moulds
I agree, the music detracts from your video which is excellent.
I am just starting this and you gave me some great ideas! I need to know if it's necesssary to cover the leaves with a sealer before painting them? I am at a sticky place where I am afraid to do anything because I don't want to ruin my leaves. Thanks so much!
awesome!
While I love that song, I couldn't focus on you and had to stop a couple of mins in.
when that video was made? 1975?
That music actually detracted from your video which was otherwise informative.
GREAT video! Thank you for being thorough and taking us through each step of the process. I'm looking forward to giving this a try :)
very useful and detailed,,Thanks a lot.. Very nice to watch your work,, Yeah looks professional job!..
I loved your video. I've subscribed to your channel. Thanks for sharing.
I loved it. If they listen to the music lyrics then maybe they will get it WHIP IT! Duh! Nice job :)
Thank you very much for a great video. I am new at this so this video is great to get started!
This was such a well done video... I dare say I am going to try this for myself! Give as gifts too.
I took a class on this. The teachers were art teachers. To paint, always use a white undercoat. The add layers of whatever colors you desire. Don't seal until you're satisfied with the coloring.
I agree....what's with the damn music with the videos? I find it highly unnecessary and even distracting most of the time.
wow this is awesome. Thank you so much for great instructions instructions
Too much talk! OMG, directions are fine but there's too much chatter in this video.
thank you for the detailed instructions .
I use acrylic paint like "Patio Paint" (this is for outdoor use) & seal them with several coats of Krylon spray. I have not used a spray stain-- but sounds interesting! :-) Thanks for comments- sometime, I hope to do an "ideas for painting" video.
Thank you for this EXCELLENT teaching video. I will enjoy making some of these leaf castings for my garden. Have you ever used a spray stain after they have cured? Do you use a concrete sealer? LOVE THE MUSIC.
Thanks very informative. I prefer no music on how to videos though as it tends to drowned out or compete with the speaker. I am wondering what type of paint you will use?
