I agree about making holiday items. I have made so much in the past for markets and Etsy only to be left with them for the next year. I focus on what people could by for gifts with a few holiday items.

i just ordered the lables for barcodes. I have the bluetooth printer and i love it . I ordered a barcode scanner so i can be faster at markets.

Loving all the pink in your office! Also just have to say I've been debating on downsizing and focusing on one type of product or niche for my shop as that's what I've seen other RUclipsrs recommend. The thing is I'm crafty and creative so don't want to feel boxed in. Watching your video and looking around your office I see you do lots of different things. Inspires me to keep pushing forward.

Book outlet buys books from big box retailers that were overbought or damaged and the retailers have to “mark” them out. It’s a great way to buy discounted books but they will always be a little rough. Also the owners of book outlet are members of a right wing super religious group.

Never give up or doubt yourself you’ve made it this far so push through and carry on

I make my own notebooks an notepads it is a learning process. for instance I'm currently trying to find the right size spirals for my planners cause its the first time I'm making spiral notebooks. but I enjoy doing it so much

I used to buy from book outlet quite a bit and I thought they used to have indicators that showed how "used" a book was, if it says new then yes I don't think they should have extreme damage to them but I think even those are "slightly" used and their new means no visible tears and damage, you have to really read between the lines with them 😭 I once ordered like a "good" book from them or their version of "good" and half the front cover was missing but with their prices I didn't really care😭

Why did you want to buy new books rather than used? Was that something your customers wanted?

I used to work in a bookstore, they are probably "new" returned stock to publisher then marked and sold at a lower price to a different wholesaler so then cheeky people can't try to return them to stores for full price
