Eddie Money Live San Francisco 1975
Просмотров 59 тыс.10 лет назад
This film is about as rare as it gets. Eddie Money and I found this footage in San Francisco through a great guy, Professor of Audio, San Francisco State University, John Barsotti. Eddie had been looking for this for nearly 40 years. Titles have been added to film giving credit to those who helped make this video possible, which was the only thing asked of us to do before putting this out. We g...

Never Ending Train - Big House Trailer
Does anyone know how he died?
21 Oct 2024 I just found this video. What a great concert! I never knew he played sax! He was really good! What a great band! The guitar playing was amazing! Never heard of him before but he was really great! I never got to see Eddie in concert but I heard he always put on a great show. You could definitely tell he was headed for the big time from this concert. Thank you for posting this! What a treasure!!!
I could listen to their version of Feel So Bad every day. Great song and great musicians.

I was still in high school ❤
Hi everybody. Bill Cantos (on the left) sings the Amazing Grace solo, and is sort of "Tenor 3." Tenor #2 is me, Walt Harrah. Next is Randy Crenshaw, Tenor #4 who sings whatever note is required. And Tenor #1 is Jeff Gunn, who has no limit to his upper range. Was a privilege to sing with these men. Massive talent.
@@WalterHarrah hi Bill, this is Michael the one who made the film. You guys are all massively talented and blessed by God. Take care and God bless
This show was The Tubes, Flo and Eddie and Eddie Money 1975
@jason698 Anyone who saw the Tubes perform live in the 70's is one luck person. So clever and tight. I loved the hint of sarcasm in many of their lyrics.....A Mighty Important Crusade!!!
My first concert was Eddy and Foghat at the Cow Palace in Daily City. Eddie was touring for his debut album. Jimmy Lyon was incredible and walked to the front of the stage, spotlight on him,and played his awesome leads.
Fantastic and what a great line up with Wishbone Ash and Robin trower. Made me smile from ear to ear
My first concert. Eddie opened up for Santana. Fort Worth Convention Center…1977? 1978? I was 12 13! He just release Hold On Two Tickets to Paradise ❤
This is so bad ass🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
9 years later here we are. It seems like a tough crowd. I'm pretty sure I hear a lot of boos after a lot of songs, and from what Eddie says between songs, he's used to people getting on their feet, but they just ain't. It's tough being an unknown artist sometimes. Seems like he's winning them over toward the end though. Anyone know if he is opening for someone else here, or if is he the main act? No album out yet, so usually he would be an opener. The fact that it is actually being filmed though, seems like he must be known to someone. It's great to see an artist on the rise. Fantastic playing all the way around.
TURN ON SONGS and the 1and only blue grass I Listen too
Dan Chauncey is a great guitar player!
@@Panic59I agree, Danny is great guitar player
This is better than anything today. Jimmy’s tone is killer. But it’s gone. It’s all gone. Ugh.
Awesome where can I buy this?
Eddie was a good good dude...who became a Rock-n-Roll Star. Good stuff !
@softhotty he really was a good dude! I mean I didn't know him personally but I know some of the things that he did and he was absolutely a good dude!

❤❤❤❤
Fantastic, Love it it's Pure Class,........
It's surprising and great to see that Eddie Money made it. He is an awful saxophone player 😄
Rock and Roll Rat Race sounds a helluva lot like Everybody Rock And Roll The Place I think on his Life For The Taking album. This is fascinating, it really is, I am a lifelong fan of his.
He was 26 here and so sexy. Oh my God.
Great Stuff; pre 1st album...awesome!
Not a Rock Hall without Eddie.
I couldn't agree more
What an amazing time capsule with clear film and sound! Thanks for posting. Enjoyed every minute. Great to see how hard working he and the others were in the early days.
🙄 'Promo sm'
I was 14 in 75. Found Eddie in 77. I have everything Eddie put out. Saw him 3 times and i got to meet him while one nite as he headed towards the stage he kissed my gf. I have to commoent on Lyons. This man can play. Much respect. Ill see you when i get there Eddie
Omigoodness, it's Jingles!! 🎷
could a case be made for eddie to be inducted into rock n roll hall of fame?
Absolutely in fact I'm surprised he's not in there now
Sometime around 1997 98 tour I'm your biggest fan I knew you as a local regional act in the early late 90s 1996
This was Featured on the TV series PTC Prime time Country with Hosts Gary Chapman and Nan Summeral
I'm glad he removed that polyester suit top about 15 minutes in you know it was hot
I've never thought about Eddie Money before the 80s when we all know Shakin Two Tickets to Paradise etc. This is probably before Eddie Money had the strokes. A lot of things I'd like to know like how long is he out before he started his music again after he suffered two strokes but I always tell this and always will because this is the only thing I know about him personally. Eddie Money was a very humble generous man eat put on a free concert for us on the Naval Base 1991 after the Persian Gulf War and he came out there talking about how broke he was, and then I learned that he died worth millions and I'm glad he wasn't broke, but it was cool for him to be so humble! RIP Eddie Money...
Saw Eddie at a toys for tots around '80. Another band couldn't make it. Eddie played a whole nother set, he played for nearly over 4 hours! We paid $5 and a toy. I've been a fan ever since!!
Eddie had such a great heart and he had such a special love for his friends, family and fans I saw this first hand from hanging out with him and talking with him for the few years I got to know him. He was a true friend to the end.
The Lobster Paul Wells says he gave great hugs! Paul the dj plays their songs all the time on the River 97.7 I talked to Randy Nichols today. He was keys later for Eddie.
This album is still in my rotation to this day!
I picture Jeff in heaven with his white robe and his controversial long hair. We miss you, we'll meet you in heaven.
"I wanna be a rock'n'roll star driving a big black car"...ironically, I saw Eddie Money in Houston, TX arriving in a big black car at a record store to make an appearance on Westheimer in the 1970s.
Top Shelf.
This song never gets old ❤
What happened to Jimmy Lyon? I saw Eddie & Jimmy play NYC CENTRAL PARK 1979 w\ The Babys opening.
RIP EM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I kinda freaked when I came across this, as I went to SFSU and I just knew this had to be taped there. Barsotti (Hi John!) was my professor and advisor. People should know that this was recorded and mixed by students, and videotaped and edited by students at SFSU. Many, many of us that came out of that program went on to successful and long careers as touring and studio engineers and mixers, camera operators, directors, etc, etc,. SFSU was the FIRST state-supported, public university in the country that offered a B.A. in audio production.
Nice!!!!
I just found out he passed away, what an amazing day that must have been. he got to see our Lord Jesus AMEN!!!!!!!
Predating Eddie's debut album by two years. Great stuff.
Jimmy Lyons!!!
