Oh my! This is too difficult a question. The answer changes frequently depending on the mood, but I think it could be "Fair Moon to Thee I Sing", "Rising Early in the Morning", or "I Am So Proud"... But so often I find myself enjoying the classics like "When I was a Lad" and "I am the Very Model of a Modern Major general", or the heartful "A Maiden Fair to See" & "For He Is An Englishman". Pinafore, Gondoliers, Patience, Iolanthe, Mikado, Pirates, Princess Ida, etc: it's all too brilliant. The list could go on and on; I could be here all day!
I was ‘meh’ on fair moon until I heard the hot mikado version. Now I’m obsessed. And ‘for he is an English man’ makes me crack up every time.
Just MAKING this video was such an experience. 😂. I edited out some SOUNDS let me tell you.

Could you make a jumpsuit instead of pants in a similar way? Would you just draw the crotch further down so the shirring sits at your bust?
You could… but then the center seam would go down the front of your outfit. I think I would do it differently…. Maybe another video?

Thank You for your great tutorial. I, for one, didn't want the shirring to be so wide so I picked about half of them out. If you catch the right thread, you can do it in no time! The result was exactly how I wanted a pair of comfy, cute pants to be!

I feel like i have too much furniture in my sewing room. I do have a peg board and it does help.😊
I have a little one but I think it’s time to go big or go home! That and eliminating multiple small pieces of furniture to one big one has helped.

I think that the extra space in the front is historically accurate. Victorians used bra pillows, edwarians even more. For the big oben bust silhouette. But i may be mistaken
