I'm 8 days into learning to shuffle. I notice that I'm heavy with the running man. I myself am heavy. I find that because of my weight it really makes me push down harder. I've been losing weight (from shuffling). I know when I'm lighter I will float more & move smoothly. But my weight is def a factor.

Hey girl is it possible to shuffle on a ground thats rough because outside in the backyard and front the ground is rough. For now Im learning inside the house with socks on and sometimes with shoes but when I've learned everything will it be normal to shuffle outside or difficult

You could have at least re-played this video and edited out the obviously ridiculous bits. Would that have killed you ? What's this nonsense about keeping your core engaged ? I think you've copied the bullshine from Ratzlaff's video. Don't copy her, she's is not a credit to herself. How could you ever disengage your core ? It's nonsense. Are you completely deaf to the words that come out of your own mouth? : "Use your arms and remember we are multi-dimensional human beings". Oh dear god! You can do better than this. Find someone willing to offer you constructive feedback. And accept the feedback graciously and objectively. Good luck.

I just want you to say how interesting it is to hear something I thought and ask myself repeatedly. I had a break from shuffle for 4 months. During this time I was just watching shuffle videos and think about myself shuffling. Imagining how I want to dance. And after 4 months with no moves at all I just realize that I can do moves I've never learned, my RM get better just from watching, analyzing and thinking. This si so strong. We are what we think.
