This is a newly constructed home in LA, but with a twist. This is a modular home built from 5-6 premade sections that are brought in on a crane and installed on a permanent foundation. This is a beautiful home that looks like a custom built project!

Question Is there a difference of the water arrestor size? I see that Home Depot has a 4-5 inch size but online they have bigger sizes. Any different or benifit on having a bigger size?
What are these doors called? Trying to search for one on Home Depot’s website
fire door or 20 minute fire door. Big Depot fan here myself but Menards has much better pricing on these.
are they require to stamp for each foundation? I want find out if my foundation is post tension

How do you add seismic straps to a water heater not near any walls - like sitting in the middle of the crawl space under an old house?
No sediment t-trap for the gas line at the heater itself?
I have this type of a furnace in my home. It’s stopped working few days ago. How can I get replaced with spending a lot of money?
From what I understand the company that issued the recall is no longer reimbursing customers and unfortunately I doubt that any HVAC contractor would be willing to repair it. Replacement is your best option, but it wont be cheap. Depending on where you live and the size of the system, a new furnace will set you back $3000-$5000.
Is that 3/8?...cuz they don’t make replacement parts for that no more.
Clearly described why a 20-minutes fire-rated door with a self closing device is required for the garage-to-house door. This is not required for detached garages. Thanks.
