You need GPU that support Direct X12. I5 3rd gen only don't support DX12(Windows 10 and above) if you don't have a GPU. I5 3rd gen + GTX 950 and above GPUs do support DX12 its possible.

To check if there's no problem on your gpu, Go to Device manager>Display adapters>double click RX 580 and it will show the properties of your gpu. The device status should be "This device is working properly." If there is a problem on your gpu, it will show "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)" You can also try to run dxdiag then go to display tab. The notes should be " • No problems found. "

its still expensive here in my country. I tried i7 2600k but the processor was overheating and it was around $27. i7 3770 is around $27 to $30 depends on sellers.

@@JoePlaysTV9409 dx12 is okay, better latency, but slightly worse fps. also, dx12 has another issue where after playing for a while fps goes down . theres even graphical glitches, so i say its not ready. ive found capping the fps to 60 helps with latency issue on dx11 and ive stuck to that and using fsr to help me get stable 60

@@JoePlaysTV9409 also if you look, you are at 90+ cpu usage the whole time, on my i7 9750 i stay at 50-90 and sometimes it just spikes to 90-100 randomly, the game has weird issue even on high end pcs

I think it can still run AAA games in 2024 as long as you have high generation of processor. I guess i7 3rd gen can still tag a long with RX 580 and so on gpus.

@@JoePlaysTV9409 ah it's just a measly i5 11th gen with mx450 (it's a scaled down 1050ti), and 16gb of ram. I'm surprised I ran stable 60 fps this long 😂. Probably will upgrade to a PC with similar spec to yours.

@@OrtuSolaris I have tested it. It seems RX 580 2048Sp have issue with latest FSR version. When i set it on High graphic, my gpu is crashing. It only supports Low settings.

If 2nd hand gpu, its fine as long as its under 80°C. If you worry about the temp, customize the fan curve of your gpu.

This build can only run Low settings on COD WZ. I think i5 4590S is slightly better than i5 3470. But gaming performance i5 3470 is better. I'd rather choose i5 4590 over i5 4590S.
