@PaulyPlz You obviously have not heard anything else by this band if you think they're just "quiet instrumental" music. I've seen them in concert, probably one of the loudest shows ever.

@Takrezz I did recently, and while it does contain the only song I kinda don't like by Mogwai (the sun smells too loud, I find it too happy-ish? I don't know, maybe it'll grow on me), boy is that album good. Discovering "I'm Jim Morrison I'm dead" and "Scotland's Shame" made my day.

holy fucking shit! I've been totally hooked to this band since like, today. It's past 2 am here and I simply can't switch this thing off. I gotta hear this again. Every time. I can't quit listening to Stanley Kubrick, Burn Girl Prom Queen, Dial: Revenge, Ratts of the Capital... this band is RIDICULOUSLY good. There may be hope for mankind, after all.

they have toured together. i have no idea how to classify either band's music. 'post-rock' is something i've heard tossed around, but either way, I think I would classify them both in generally the same category. Personally, I'd file them both under "the stuff dreams are made of".
