I've always liked Andy Taylor ever since he left Duran Duran I loved listening to him awesome guitar player and great vocalist

His first solo album was pretty good.

Andy MADE duran duran when on stage .. he's whirlwind of an entertainer on stage and in the studio.

Andy had such an awesome wardrobe in the 80’s, especially the red jacket he always wore. Incredibly talented, I’m glad to know he is still playing despite his cancer. Gives him something to live for, and I’m sure it’s very therapeutic as well. I hope he beats this or can at least get to the “living with cancer” stage. If he was diagnosed stage 4 six years ago, he’s definitely doing something right. We love you Andy!

Andy Taylor is not just a great guitarist and brought in the "rock" elements in Duran Duran but very much overlooked as a backing singer in the band. The way his vocals would harmonise with Simon Le Bon's was just amazing, especially check out the live versions of 'New Religion' and 'Save a Prayer.' I wish Andy a full and speedy recovery.

This pedal sounds amazing. It has sides effects too. It made it possible for some average person as I am to talk with Thorpy and demistyfie opinions on his Camoflange. All because I asked the question regarding Hairy Squid. One thing led to another. Sometimes life is great :-)

I am a huge lifelong Duran Duran fan. When they broke up and did their side projects, I thought that Arcadia sounded very Duran Duran. Loved it! And Power Station blew my mind! I LOVED this sound! Andy gave me an appreciation for the guitar. I have been blessed to see them many times. And seen Andy many times too. I will never forget just watching him perform White Lines. It is always a very fun song at a live show. But this one show, I just had these moments with Andy where I just watched him and thought to myself, ‘What a bad ass!’. Just awe! I am very sad about his illness. I pray for him all the time. He and Duran Duran have been with me my whole life since I was 9.

To me he was the secret weapon of DD...tons of ideas and ability plus vocals.

I was at Weyfest a couple of years ago and missed the Reef performance. Was totally gutted to learn Andy was on stage with them.

Interesting man. The rocker of Duran. I like his riff on Friends of Mine alot and that soaring sound on Friends of Mine amongst many others. Duran deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. The Power Station was great also. Much respect Andy.

Not really much of a player but still,it sucked hearing about his health. Duran Duran was just a great group. With the Exception of Nick Rhodes none of them were any good at their instrument. He was no virtuoso either but his synth was their signature sound. Still they wrote some great songs that will always stand the test of time.

"Teach your fingers to do what you hear in your head" might be the greatest, most poetic way I have ever heard of describing what it means to be a musician.

I knew he was a Van Halen fan. I can see it in him. I told that to a friend the other day. Didn't realize he was a Geordie tho..makes me like him even more!!

I believe Real World Studios is owned by Peter Gabriel. I could be wrong.

Andy's guitar sound from the early 80s was iconic, they shaped the Duran sound for me, those thin, chorussed arpeggios that he used all over Rio are absolutely inspirational
