Thanks. I'm building an 8 tier cathedral-esque structure in my video game, but with a fortress and castle built on top of it. The hard part for me is taking these principles and translating it into a symmetrical square with an additional 4 off center squares while also trying to maintain the natural light of the clerestory. Really tricky. I'm also trying to put multiple functional levels within the structure where people would learn, cook, soldiers could sleep, etc. Working within the confines of 400 mb download for the whole game is also challenging as it will prevent me from using many assets that would significantly help with the implementation of this thing.

This is very helpful! I am an architecture student currently assigned to design a church, I have always been fascinated by gothic architecture, so I really wanted to incorporate gothic elements in my church. The origin of pointed arches, Iwans and Hemispherical domes lies in the Arsacid Parthian dynasty of Iran, and later the Sasanian Persian dynasty of Iran that succeeded the Parthians made huge improvements to it. Many remaining structures from the Sasanian era are in the Middle East, like the Arch of Ctesiphon (Iwan-e Khosrow), Ardashir Palace, Sarvestan Palace, and Adur Gushnasp Fire Temple.
