Understandable but if you have a look at some of the replay videos already, you can see cyber dragon ending with a 4 to 5 negate/disruption board which is something cyber dragon couldn't do consistently now it can. The cyber Jormungandr is just a cool tech for the otk aspect it's like siding in a board breakers same idea. I personally like the support.

@BRO-K3N first impression is meh, I like the art though but who knows maybe with play testing it might grown on me, hopefully Konami gives us more and surprise us with something better hopefully

​@BRO-K3N well respectfully here's my problems with these cards. Cyber jormungander problems 1) it's name isn't cyber dragon jormungander - this is a problem because it isn't a cyber dragon monster. So it can't be used to make ANY of the chimeratech monsters. No contact fusing, no rampage. Also you will be unable to use cores graveyard effect to special summon it from the deck to activate its effect. This was done on purpose by Konami and you can tell because they added the text of "cannot be normal summoned or set". Which means they still wanted you to be able to search it off of cyber emergency but they didn't want it being used for anything else. 2) it's effect to special summon itself requires your opponent to have a monster on the field meaning it's useless going first. 3) it's effect to special summon itself isn't an inherent special summon like the original cyber dragon is. This is an activated effect So it can be negated by any generic cards that negate monster effects. 4) this card searches polymerization and not power bond or overload fusion. No serious cyber dragon deck runs polymerization. And if u do choose to run one so you can get a +1 off this cards effect you run the risk of adding even more brick cards to your deck because hard drawing a polymerization might as well be a brick. Now for the cyberdark wurm 1) it's once per duel for no apparent reason. 2) it locks you into machines keeping the deck weak to people siding in fortress dragon against you. 3) it adds a cyber spell or trap from grave and not from the deck. - this one is exstra bad because the only way that cyber cards are going Into the grave is by using them, and all cyber spell and traps have a hard once per turn effect. So even if you resolve this thing AT BEST you get follow up for your next play instead of EXSTENDING your play which is what this card is trying to be. Mabie there is a combo line with Rev system sense it's not once per turn but that's pretty weak for a "once per duel effect" 3) it's effect to special summon itself would have been good if all you needed to do was send a cyber dragon from deck to grave. But Konami saw fit to require you to already have a machine in grave or on field which makes this effect redundant. -EDIT: KONAMI LOGIC = let's give players a way to turn on cyber repair plant by making a monster that summons itself by sending a cyber dragon to the grave! ALSO KONAMI = Ya but let's fuck them over while we're at it by requiring there be a cyber dragon already in the graveyard before they can do it. -.- I'm not saying these cards won't see some play at one a peice. But the effects get totally destroyed by the unessisary restrictions Konami added to these.

@@dannystockman8804 I agree with you. But I thought of a way to use a Cyber Spell/Trap with a once per turn cooldown by adding it to your hand back from the GY. So since Wurm is a Cyberdark monster, it only makes sense that it mostly helps Cyberdarks. If you use Cyberdark Chimera's effect to search for Power Bond, you discard 1 Spell/Trap from your hand. Lets say you discard Cyber Emergency which you didnt use. Now with Wurm you can use that Cyber Emergency that you spent to get Power Bond. In other words, search from your GY the spell or trap that you didnt use and was sent there by effect. You can also discard a spell/trap with Clockwork Night's GY effect. Wurm fixed the problem of trading resources for effect by giving us the resource back instead of giving us new resource. Again, I agree, this isnt the best Konami could do, but it isnt totally useless and will surely see play with Cyber Dragon Decks and Cyberdark Decks. This will improve the decks even slightly. I mean its better than no support right?

I had a look, but what's the benefit other than the cyberdarks of milling stuff to the gy? Like horizon Mills, a cyber light from hand, then a cyberdark from deck then adds a monster and Mills a extra deck monster I understand the search aspect but other than that what is a good way to use?

​i run horizon at 1 its deffo a major player in my combos. it sends 2 cards to gy searches one and sends an ed monster to gy as well. it sets up sooooo many plays for the deck due to the shear number of interactions it has with the deck and gy. Its by all accounts a +3 card for free.

If you open Cyberdark Chimera, Now, the new Cyberdark Dragon or Cyberdark Claw you can pitch them + Herz to get Core and make your regular plays OR you can do Stuff like: Cyberdark Claw search Horizon Horizon pitch Core from Hand and Cyberdark Chimera from deck, get something, Core banish to Summon Nachster, Nachster effect, revive Chimera, Chimera effect, get powerbond, link into Sieger, now you have the OTK line I talk about on the other post. Also I forget to mention on the previous comment, this OTK line works around Nibiru, Always. Now with the new Cyberdark Dragon you can pitch it from Horizon and you have one more body (let's say you Open Claw/Horizon, Core and Cyber Dragon OG going first, you can do Horizon pitch the OG or wtv, pitch the new Cyberdark + ED Monster and get Herz, now normal summon Core, get repair plant, activate repair plant, Galaxy Soldier, Summon Cyber Dark from gy, you have 2 Rank 5 here You have alot of flexibility. Claw, Horizon, are Handtrap eaters and if your opp don't know what you're doing you get alot of advantage. One of the added benifits of using Horizon is the Extra Deck Monster you send to GY, in the form of Cyber Eternity Dragon wich gives protection to your Monsters.

I understand your disappointment, but konami aren't going to just give support easy to use and make it op they are trying to balance the support, and this is a good start.

@BRO-K3N you may have a point if Cyber dragons didn't get easily the worst support of the tactical try decks.

The Cyber Dragon's legacy lives on in Rush Duels! That's where they'll always stay playable.

I saw a few rush duels cyber dragons, and it's pretty sweet to see they are getting the love over there

At least they are sticking to the lore of the deck that they should synergise as two different archetypes and don't. So it's good to see they are making the effort to do so.

I wish they would just do an anime for this it would be class

This video was my theory explaining the yugioh anime/manga (head) cannon reason why kaiba might have used these card's (blue-eyes ultimate spirit dragon). Trying to build upon the lore of the show and manga for my pleasure and other people who wish to watch the content. Because kaiba did, in fact, not use any other summoning method other than fusions in the extra deck on the show or in the manga. So yes, they have been around for a long time synchro's and xyz's blue-eyes support, but there's never an explanation given as to why they made this support for blue-eyes. The reason for the current spike in interest is the new blue-eyes structure deck coming out in February, which made me want to make the video. I hope this helps you better understand.

That's a fair point of view. If you're looking at the anime in chronological order, kaiba would be long dead by the time Xyz's came into existence. The union activation is a call back to the manga where he used the xyz dragon cannon archetype to summon obelisk.

Both Critias and Hermos at least need a Tiameus monster version.

That's pretty sweet. Your opponent wouldn't expect that play to happen either.

Eltanin isn't a bait for Negates/Interruptions, you have to commit Core + Emergency to do the play. Now with Disablaster and the new Cyber Dragon you have plays before Eltanin, cause you can't activate it just because you need to have set-up, also ONLY Works going Second, I prefer to use Book of eclipse any day than Eltanin for example. You can also use Raigeki, wich is better then Eltanin. Cyber Eltanin is ONLY good against Orcust, Ryzeal and decks like that

@lookatme5939 it's just too hard to go into an amazing card. Don't get me wrong and soooo cool, but until we get support to bridge that gap further, it's unplayable.

Cause you have to jump through hoops to summon it, I’d love to see any easy, quick way to summon it without having to actually have cyberdark monsters in your deck to play it.

Bro don't heart me man. I reread mechanical dawn. It has recursion. Also changed your recipe up a bit. Swapped instant for a second powerbond and lullaby for cyberload fusion. I also think a good side deck card could be cyber eltanin. Straight graveyard sending is good for almost everything save for stuff that is immune to everything.
