Hey. First time bike owner and did my service. When bike upright. Full dipstick is covered in oil and when its on side stand only half of the dip stick gets covered in oil on 883iron 2014. Is it ok?

Did you try out his Bobber? If you did, thoughts? Torn between these two and I know they are completely different. Test rode the Speed Twin 1200 and LRS 117.

The Twin Slash's with the standard baffles are nice in the sense that you can be 'kinda' stealthy with them if you want, and when you get on the gas they roar a pretty good amount. The competition baffles are just a whole other level of loud... I toyed around with both and wound up going back to the standards.

Don't agree with the save lives thing. I also don't agree with the independent pipes. 2 into one is much better.

I am a new rider and I have a 2022 Iron 883. Is it normal for the bike to go down on oil when it is driven.

Hey Mr. Motosquatch.Still have the LRS? Have to ask you, did you ever have an external breather on the 117? A lot of guys say it's imperative. Don't want to mess with it anyway. At 20k you would have had issues. Thanks.

Thanks. Always owned rice burners and just bought my 1st Harley. Dry sump is a new concept to me even though it’s over 115 years old.

Excellent video. Always wanted a modern version of my '79 Superglide. The one and only thing I prefer on the SG is the front fender. M8's are excellent. Won't be parting with my LRS 117 for a long while. Love it!

Man I just want to wash with a hose and some spray soap wash that suds up but can't seem to find any information or video of someone doing that for black denim for my iron 883 nor what soap to use that suds up from a spray bottle like that s100 stuff does. Apparently s100 isnt good for denim so im looking for something that does tge same thing but for denim. It's always just detail cleaners and finishers. Im looking for something that I can spray on whole bike that suds up after my initial rinse than rinse it off after than dry. After all that ill use the matte finish poducts but my whole bike needs washing first.

To be fair ANYTHING sounds better and louder than the stock mufflers. I was super excited once I heard my Cobra NH for the first time on my 117 LRS. Also I live in LA. No loud pipes will guarantee a save but I think they can help for sure.

I agree with you 100%. I bought a 2023 FXLRS at the end of Dec 23. I have just gone from 69-150 miles on it. LOL I work way too much. However I can say this bike is the perfect motorcycle for me. The performance just keeps getting better the more I ride it. I came from sport bikes originally. I traded a 2020 Iron 1200 for this LRS. I have 0 regrets even though I did love the sporty. The LRS does everything I need it to do and 100% better than the Sporty. It has actual suspension, brakes, enough HP and plenty of torque. I haven't dragged any parts yet but I am still breaking it in so I'm riding somewhat conservatively. My point being so far the lean angle has been plenty. I also own a 23 Yamaha MT-09 but I prefer riding the HD. Maybe that's me getting older and more mature but there's something to be said about being comfortable and just cruising. Especially on a bike that doesn't mind when you want to pick up the pace. I think once I hit 500 miles I'll stop babying this bike so much. This is the first video I've watched on your channel so far. It sounds like you have put on an aftermarket exhaust. Which one did you choose? I'm debating just how far away from stock I want to go with this bike. It's just that good. I would like the exhaust a little louder but not obnoxiously loud. I had Cobra Speedster 909's on the Sporty. It did sound good but was too loud. My neighbors hated that exhaust for sure. I heard many complaints.

Go for it brother, it’s only cash , spend it while your breathing, I spent so much cash in the past few weeks , The D850 , battery grip , the saddleman seat and Sp Concepts exhaust and couple of camera lenses , somehow I managed to spend $3500. 😅 Broke boys with Expensive toys 😂

moderation is going to be the name of the game. as people in their Teslas that are sound dampened as far as possible while they blast music and the AC on max won't hear you no matter what. But the people who vote will. Loud pipes are going to ban bikes.

How do you know when it’s low on oil? Does it have a guage or?
