The other huge problem with vinyl is when the groups go to different producer/studios to record . Your good stereo will show you how good /bad the recording is. It is mostly terrible for the expense.

Some records on discogs are really common and horrible, and certain people make up fake prices and say their rare. I made a 45, got 300 copies in my closet for example, sell them for 5 bux. According to discogs, my 45 is valued at 185 dollars lol.

Excellent but I do wish they had done a better job at hiding the CD tray. The entire jukebox is simply georgous but that black CD box in the middle just does not look that great in my opinion. That won't stop me from buying one someday but I wish it had a sliding door or something that would hide it when you don't need it.

Im 51 years old. Ive been into music and albums since 1978 when I got my first record, Kiss Rock and Roller over in record. I also play guitar. I have rebought almost every album ive ever had on vinyl for the the 3rd time in my life. I have 100 records. 90% of all my favorite bands catalogs. It took me a year going to my local record shop, a few out of town and mostly on Amazon and discogs. I have about 50 to go to have everything i have ever want to own. The average price i spent on a record is about $15. Most of them were used for less than $10. The most i spent is $35 on a double live album new. So yes, ive spent 1500 bucks in a year. Thank you stimulus money! Music has been a major part of my life for alkost my whole life. Call me close-minded, limited taste or whatever, but im constantly mind boggled when somebody owns over 150 albums, unless they just want everything. Ive spent years building a connection with around 10 bands with at least 10 albums in their catalog who are all about as old as me, 50th, such as kiss just celebrating their 50th. I cant possible think of or find the time to invest in more music than that and thats all i need fir the hopefully 30 years left on this planet.

I was able to purchase this for $179.99 at Fry's Electronics in Texas. Even though it had been out less than a year, they had it on clearance for that price. As time has gone on, I grow happier and happier with the table. It's simple, minimalistic, and does the job with no complaints at all. I leave mine on, so the power button doesn't bother me. My 45 adapter is brushed metal, not plastic. I bought the Q-Up tonearm lifter and it works perfectly.

I bought a Texas Roadhouse bubbler (made by Rock-ola) touch screen type Jukebox from a third party. While I like the nostalgia of a Jukebox I quickly discovered that most people these days don’t have the patience to search and add songs or albums to a playlist, so I had a great idea and plugged in an Apple TV streaming box and 5.1 receiver) . Now I can play about anything. All sorts of music (Spotify, Apple Music, Plex, Amazon music) and Videos (Apple TV, Amazon, Plex, channels) to an external TV and I can use the Apple TV remote to control it. Plus anyone that comes over can use their iPhone and to connect to it. Rock-ola should consider a streaming version that can do Music and Video and apps. I will say that that crystal version bubbler is stunning though.

One word, and that word is........wait for it..... the remaster sounds like they tried to highlight certain things such as more air, ambiance at the expense of......."cohesiveness" the original is superior, in my opinion, In some points in your demo it seems like the two have different volume levels......Yes, it's subtle, but there it is. It's not as if the person that did the remaster did anything wrong , in fact it is a superb example, more often than not, he had to do something different to justify the effort.

It sounds ok, but honestly it sounds _nothing_ like what you expect from a Martin. Like all purchases that aren't prestige or investment driven, ignore the name on the headstock and try a whole bunch. For that kinda money, I know I could do better (at least, to satisfy _my_ personal sonic tastes).

Hey there, i just purchased a T1 BT version as well, the LED for pairing does not work for me, is there something I have missed? So my setup is this, the Bose 700 soundbar that has BT and the Turntable just plugged into the outlet, am I missing something? Of course I turned them on just to remove this ! Help? :D

Hi. Have you had any luck finding replacement or other longer usbc to 3.5mm aux cables that work with these speakers? I have purchased numerous cables and they simply do not work. There's something very different about the internal cable wiring or pin configuration with the one that comes with these from the manufacturer. I haven't had any luck getting more info or replacement cables from the manufacturer.

I've always hated vinyl records, even when I was a kid, that is why I tried to make a tape recorder in the fourth grade, I didn't succeed obviously, but at least I tried! The ticks, and pops, plus surface noise, and the eccentricity of vinyl records drove me (when I had enough money), to purchase a used teak A1500U, reel-to-reel tape recorder, but I could easily still hear the difference between "source and tape", the dreaded tape hiss. In 1978 as an engineering consultant for the "Great American Sound Co., I traveled to Japan to visit GAS dealers and the Tokyo Electronics Show. In the Sony booth at that show, I saw for the first time, a model PCM-1, 12-bit digital processor playing music from the video track displaying thousands of black and white, undulating bits on the monitor, from the same SL-8200 Beta max VCR I had at home, I had to own one of these! In 1983 I attended an AES meeting featuring Marshall Buck who was presenting his new "coaxial two-way" loudspeaker he had designed for Cerwin-Vega! In his demonstration he was utilizing a "vocal-only" recording of a female singer that sounded fantastic with an incredible "dynamic range" and no background hiss. Immediately after Marshall's demonstration, I walked up and asked him what equipment was playing back his recording of this singer? He pointed to this diminutive silver box, and said I'm using a Sony PCM-F1, 16-bit Digital Audio Processor and a VCR. I said how much for the PCM-F1. He said $1,500.00, and I said sold! I built a portable recording rig that included the PCM-F1 and other custom-made equipment that I utilized for various musical performance recordings made on location and I won an Emmy for an outdoor performance of the opera Faust!
