Great video. Looks like the difference between this model and earlier Pro Mod basses is the pre-amp now has a grounded metal case to improve screening. Low-End Lobster also recommends screening/grounding the pick-up cavities, inc. grounding pole pieces - it's a bigger job.

Why does the Sonos amp hast so few Input connections? Normal amps have Lots of audio inputs.

My only problem with various guitar companies... Is that nobody's original they constantly copy the strat the Les Paul body types.. One of these companies that starts up has to be original and come up with some new shapes... I mean if I want a strat its Fender... If I want a Les Paul it Gibson... I see no point in buying a copy... Somebody needs to become innovative.. design some new bodies for their brand. Just sayin' Sounds good though.

Fender's position of the volume knob is not for everyone ... people who start on strats don't seem to have a problem with it, but everyone who starts on something else does.

Nice review. Can I use this "X" for more acoustic sounds like heard at 9:20. Alternatively, can the "I" be used for electric sounds? Are the strings on "I" the ones used on acoustic guitar?

Here's the real if this is 600.00 to 700.00 ....I have to be realistic as the reality goes. If I'm spending 6 to 7 hundred n. I'm buying a fender or PRS or a sire simply for resale alone . All great guitars and I've owned a couple of Donners ..a great guitar. But when they get to close in value .,you have to be realistic in today's market ...long term investment ...fender ,PRS ,sire are truely a better investment or even Halen Bentley is a better overall investment and very good quality .. just a thought

How good is the mv55?...i have a premier 11a runs 6550,kt88 and kt120 tubes... would love to listen to the mv55, because i like el34 tubes...someday maybe i'll finf a premier 11xs that also runs el34 tubes... Genelax Gold Lion KT88 are really nice tubes too🎶

Great review. I usually didn't like any of the travel guitars that came out before but this one looks decent. I assume the HPL fretboard was used to cut cost. I wonder how the fret board feels like. I play in a local cover band and just don't have time to practice pluggin everything in. I just need something to practice on my couch with a headset. I am thinking of getting one but, I would definitely replace the pickups just to see how better it would sound. One improvement would be a bluetooth to connect my phone so I could listen to songs that I play covers to. This is prob another cost to manufacturers to pay the bluetooth license, but I think less wire is more. Thanks for the review. 👍

Can you please tell, how low are the strings, can you put them very close to the frets, to put them as low as possible? To play easy complicated solos.

I don’t like the idea of pulling albums out sideways, or having to crouch down to draw them out. I’d much rather have them organized facing out, like the record shops. Same with 45’s. I have searched online but still haven’t found a sturdy, affordable solution for storing albums and 45’s. I’ve looked at Amazon, Wayfair, and other supposed specialty sites. If anyone has any suggestions I’d appreciate it. I feel that good solutions might be getting furniture/bookcases etc. that are not specifically made for vinyl, since they will almost certainly be a lot cheaper.

How is just the raw sound of the pro vs the ultralight? I travel with the ultra-light on my motorcycle because of its size, but if the raw sound is a lot better that would be a selling point for me. Don't really have a need, i think, for the effects, as my spark handles effects really well. Thank you for the review!
