Makes sense chiropractors promote it given how both are complete quackery
$60 for a rubber bracelet that has a useless hologram inside it? Absolutely brilliant. Someone definitely laughed all the way to the bank.
This video was posted 14 years ago. Many people were falling for this.. People are gullible. Just think about how many people lined up willingly to get experimental injections during Covid.
There are many products where this is 100% true
"I'm not faking a 500% increase in strength and stability." Wow, if it had that effect on me, that would be insane! I would literally be superman, lifting twenty times my own weight and break every world record in almost every sport which involves strength.
A fool and his money are easily parted. I work at trade shows, fairs, and festivals around the US, and I have seen the same demonstration used to sell jewelry, socks, and other items supposedly imbued with some kind of frequency. It used to bother me quite a bit, especially because my family manufacturers natural pain, beauty, and pet products. Natural remedies for pain get a bad reputation because of con artists like these people, but at the end of the day, it's the buyer's responsibility to do their own research before they buy something. People ask me why my products work, and I explain to them that it's because of the naturally occurring menthol and other proven ingredients. I can always give somebody a concrete explanation as to why my product is effective. I firmly believe the benefit of people received from these kinds of products is coming from the placebo effect. If someone purchases this bracelet and is it satisfied at the end of the day, I'm not going to judge them too harshly. All I can say is there are cheaper alternatives that are going to give you a similar result, and there are MANY cheaper alternatives that are going to give you much better results.
😂😂😂😂 what a load of shite.
The thing is that hologram on the bracelet is just a sticker
This type of stuff has been debunked before. I remember when all the malls had the "power band" kiosks and were shilling them like they actually made you stronger because they had a 'magic frequency' built into them that interacted with your body's frequency (pseudoscience mumbo jumbo). They would to pre and post tests and it appeared to work, but after the simplest of double blind tests, their whole business fell apart and they openly admitted that their product was not based in any real objective science. This video reminds me of that. I would like to see you do the same test with an apparatus that mechanically pins all the same joints in the exact same position in a accurate and repeatable and verifiable way, then have a mechanical arm with a force indicator like a torque arm that can give you a readout of the amount of force applied each time while also giving you angular data. Make it scientific. Otherwise there is not really any telling if that joint is in slightly a different position by a millameter or 2, enough to allow an apparent 'improvement' in range of motion but not enough to detect the trickery. Hell, maybe the dude just emotionally relaxed with the bongos causing muscle tension release. That doesn't mean magic music fixed him, it just meant he was tense and needed to be allowed to chill.
Was at a festival this weekend and they were selling these bracelets for 200$. It seems to me if this was scientifically proven this video was made 13 years ago. The stuff would’ve gone main stream by now.
Big deal! I got some magic beans that basically do the same thing!
Where's the previous night's story? I want to see how channel 7 credulously promoted this nonsense.
500% strength increase, I can't fake that. But I could feel it, when I passed 374% of my normal strength, I knew this was legit.
Ah man so embarrassing. We got caught with this scam too except their pitch was that wearing the band protected us from harmful RF frequencies coming from smartphones and Wi-Fi networks. Did the same test and everything 🤦🏾♂️
The scam is so obvious, even so ppl felt for it world wide, i remember this went trend in Brazil even tho for Brazilians this was like, twice expensier than for US, since not Brazilian money was always over 1/2 to 1/3 the value of a dollar, but also cos Brazil always had absurd taxes for everything, even so ppl bought it. I wonder how no institution expose them, and how didn't everyone involved and everyone who also present this scam and lied didn't got sued or jailed
I remember seeing a kiosk in the mall with a salesman doing this experiment. I was around 15 at the time and even I knew it was BS when they did that balance trick
1BILLION+ ULTRA INSTINCT 500+ Attack damage. 750+ Critical strike. 1.5k+ Defense 2k+ Speed
I tried it and am very skeptical.... it works I dont know how
*hostess is fucking gorgeous*
Holograms no! Magnets yes! Anions from nature neutralise build up of cations or positive ions which you get from what your on now
Your demo is a bunch of BS the products you're using just don't work the muscle test works for many products and it works 100% for mine. So you need to stop putting stuff like this on RUclips that is 100% false claiming things are a scam shame on you for Miss information. You owe her an apology you should take down this video for putting false information on here!!!!!!
I remember people trying to sell this scam at a marathon race I was participating in. They claimed it had better balance, but the person pushing down on my arm did it different to get different results. The scammer doesn't just push down on your arm. They will push it outside to make you fall and make you feel unbalanced. Then with the scam bracelet, they push inwards to make you feel very balanced. I called out the scammer, but everyone got angry at me for it. Like I was the asshole. So, I let it go.
i have a struggle with negative thinking. I have struggles to fight it. it's 90 percent gone. who know. seems to have that affect on me
Placebo effect
@@deboraholiver3716that is definitely happening only in your mind
is the 'rona' vaccine any better?
This is ridiculous because you’re saying that a muscle test doesn’t work the bracelets don’t work. Many people do these muscle test and they work with many items they work 100% with my items so this is a shame that you defamed this muscle test by making claims the muscle test doesn’t work and that it’s a scam it’s just that these products probably worked at one time but they died why don’t you investigate before you make false claims about a muscle test being a scam
First of all yes power balance probably doesn’t work but they’re not doing the kinesiology test correctly that’s the first thing they need to learn how to do many people use these kinesiology tests to test many types of products just because this product didn’t work people are really offended that people are calling this a scam if anybody uses these kinesiology tests 100% false and you need to take this off the Internet
How dare you claim that doing kinesiology tests on things are scams. Who gives you the right to be the judge? There are many products that work with a muscle test maybe the products that you’re using don’t work but to call this kinesiology test which is used by mini chiropractors that many people to claim it doesn’t work and call it a scam you have no right. Like I said maybe whatever products you’re doing they don’t work so make that claim that it’s that product but saying that muscle test doesn’t work onMany others is a false statement
Wife and I bought one each. I'm one of the worlds biggest sceptics (some even call me anti vax!) so tried the balance test independently of the salesman to prove that it didn't work. The balance test worked EVERY TIME 😳😳😳
@0:04 Billy Slater had power and balance, end of story. Stopped watching there. 🤬
u convince a mind 2 do anything
Let us connect a zipline between two skyscrappers and ask the owner to carry as many of the hologram as he wants and walk across the zipline from one end to the other.
Lmao 😂😂😂😂😂 This is hilarious
Many sports store sells this shit.
This isn't a good title. You're not proving anything about a simple party scam and you guys sound uncertain if it's real or not.
that guy selling the "healing" hologram should be in prison
you dont have to fool people when they are willing to fool themselves
a chiropractor... promoting quack science ...imagine my shock
It's almost like it's bullshit. Think people, think!
Hello can you share your contact I am talking to something about
My mother brought into this shit. I should probably start using using it against her when she makes stupid arguments.
Depends on the product Mine works perfectly
This proves its all in our minds, our minds are extremely powerful. If we think if someone is helping them our body natrually will help. This one story a girl had to undertake a lot of chemo, and when she went in and carried her meds she always say to the medicine, this is only taking out the bad and none of the good. And called it her lil army soldiers, the amount of chemo was extremely high for her and 100% loss of hair, but she hardly got any symptoms and didn't lose any of her hair. I think that is amazing. I also just watched this dr do this exact thing and before he stared he said, I don't like to demonstrations cause this is why, then he'd go to adjust someons leg or strength and it would get better, but then he said, now watch this, told doneness in audience to rub her nose and it made the guy stronger. What his proof was is that were all electrical beings that all radiate off eachother so you don't have to physically touch someone to heal them. It's how often u think about the healing or that persons issues that make the healing complete. Also, check this out! How thoughts alone can change the particles in water & food. (this proves prayer works) If our body is 75% water then this is huge on having good thoughts about ourself and others. Everyone is 1 thought away from perfection. www.messagetoeagle.com/thoughtsintentphysreal.php#.X0gFfGlMEwA
60+ dollars a bracelet that’s the real power/magic. That’s makes the bank account really strong.
why was they sued common sense should have told folks wouldnt work its nothin to It no electronics nothin it's just a rubber band its not even a scam it's a band that it
Someone tried to sell me a bracelet made of titanium charged with the 7. something frequency today for $275 and while it seemed to have amazing effects on me I just wasn’t buying it.
Instructors: for a nice lesson in skepticism/critical thinking created specifically for this video, consider using this question set. www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/RUclips-Skepticism-Power-Balance-4410333
These bands are made in China for around $1.00. Concerned about your health? Time to get real.
Yes the ONLY way to test if these gadgets actually work as claimed is to undertake the blind test as shown on this video... and of course they don't work! Move on everyone, absolutely nothing to see here.
The power of suggestion is quite real. If you believe you can do something, you are more than halfway to actually doing it. The opposite is true too, so monitor your thoughts as they come into view and attenuate the negative ones. At the same time, give thanks for all that you are and everything that surrounds you.
Amazing Randi would have done the same test and shamed these snake oil salesmen onto a newer scam (there will ALWAYS be a newer scam).
thats bc ppl never cease to be stupid
IT IS SIMPLE! To make the person lose their balance you angle the force slightly away from their body. To make them stand strong, you press slightly in the direction of their body. In other words a small amount of pressure away from your center of gravity tips you over. A small amount of pressure toward your center of gravity makes you stronger.
Well done.
Mental band that’s it folks
