WHY FEDYOR IS ALWAYS SO HATED BECAUSE OF THE SCENE OF DISCOVERING NINA AND MATTHIAS... COME ON, PEOPLE, HE JUST WANTED TO PROTECT NINA Yes, Fedyor was rude in that scene, he was very wrong, rude and he was a little fucker, I know... but I understand why he acted like that. Nina is 100% someone close to him in the show, and he just wanted to protect her from a fucking druskelle, of whom Nina knew almost nothing! If I was on his place, Matthias would be dead already, but Fedyor in the end was just like: "Uhhh, I'm tired of this shit and I REALLY DON'T WANT A NEW WAR, so... Fuck you, two stupid teens, I do not fucking care!". Yes, it was bad of him, I agree with that at some point, but not SO awful. SO STOP BEING SO BAD TO MY SWEET LITTLE SUNSHINE!!!

The audiobooks by Phil Dragash contain the original music from the movies as well as sound effects and fantastic voice acting. Really great alternative to those who don't have time to read! I've been listening to them on repeat in my car for over a year now 😂😂

1. Kaz did use knife in the series (for example in the fight with the Dregs he uses it multiple times). As well as many other weaponry. 2. Inej in the final scene very clearly talks about his emotional armor, not the physical one. She is not so shallow to talk about his aversion, she would help him with that over time. She talks about his mental struggles and boundaries problem, that he doesn't let her close and she can't help him till he lets her. 3. The thing with taking some elements of scenes from the books is because they had to take some big hooks for people to want to watch the potential spinoff, yet not rip the actual scenes from their proper place. And their relationship is slightly different because of the circumstances, it has to keep the audience wanting. For a series to be book slow-burn is very dangerous. Also they have only limited time.

Have never been a Hunger Games series fan, never liked the premise of these. Cruelty to children and the idea of a society killing it's children for fun is such a vile concept to me, these books/movies have never appealed to me! I recently read a cozy novel that I really liked called 'Aunt Dimity's Death' (1). This was so much fun to read and it has magic elements in it, which is really sweet. Let's just say Aunt Dimity is still around, in her own way! Another novel for this year that I enjoyed was "The politics of washing: real life in Venice' by Polly Coles. This is a memoir of Coles of her family living in Venice and is a wonderful diary of her daily life in Venice, the difficulties and adventures they all have. I finished reading "Ocean Light" by Nalini Singh last night, really enjoyed it, surprisingly, because the male mc is a character that I haven't really liked much in the series so far, but Nalini has managed to change my mind. She's written a wonderful story for him and drew me in. 💜

as someone who generally likes all adaptions and even sometimes prefers adaptions when they change things so long as i can tell they still care about the story being told, (idk i just find it fun having two different interpretations that i can compare and consume lol)... can i just say, i really appreciate you stating your preferences and critiques in a nice way. personally, i love most of the changes (but understand why people may not), and whilst i do respect all opinions, it can be hard trying to find reactions or reviews that aren't completely negative or tonally bleak from people who are book fans first, so this is really a breath of fresh air <3
