Wonderful music, incredible flutist! But to practice this instrument 6 hours a day, the minimum time to reach such a level of virtuosity... you have to be divorced, without a dog, and live in an isolated house in the middle of the woods! 😅 The misfortune of the flutists... A contrario, we lutenists can play 24 hours a day without getting the neighbors angry, but afterwards in the orchestra... we can't be heard! (which suits me sometimes)

The more I listened to this performance the more I liked it. Nobody in the orchestra is trying to take the lead . Very together as Bach surely intended. There is a calmness and delicacy in the slow movements and not too much brashness when the tempi are faster.
