Can they survive during winter in Las Vegas? I'm also from the vegas
@@sophiajuniosamazingworld.5514 they don't mind the short 20s and 30s here. The heat is what it needs protection from.
Thank you, I just bought the baby plant from Star Nursery. Do I need to put it outside or indoors for now?
If I place 2 small Desert rose into a container, will the 2 caudex merge and become 1 plant?
I turned the volume to the max but understand you to the least .The music so loud and your pronunciation ………😢
@hongvargas6859 I got new microphone now, future videos will be better.
Thank you for this very informative video! I did this, and it's day 8 of drying, but the caudux on mine doesn't seem to be drying much. It's still soft. Any suggestions?
Hi,how is your Camito doing today?
@staciep2638 it was flowering for a few seasons but hasn't turned into fruit. Last winter it died back a little and growing again.
Our grapes have stopped growing... Hard dark green and Small in size... Any tip/advice??
Hi,did you get fruit
Thank you
@@excellence_vee you're welcome
I’m picking up this tree tomorrow, along with the Texas Pink, can’t wait!
How big is the tree?
@@GreenMangoes They were around 3-4 feet, the prices were too good to pass up.
@camiele4 that's pretty good. Good luck.
I bought new adenium. Can i plant it without cutting roots
@elainegarcia9941 yes you can. That will be fine.
@@GreenMangoes tks. Can u send correct way to plant...video....and adenium mix...
@elainegarcia9941 I created this youtube short for ruclips.net/user/shortsx0boFu9VFco?feature=share If you have additional questions, you can connect to me on Instagram: GreenMangoesLV and I will be happy to help you step by steps. Hope this helps.
@@GreenMangoes what soil u use
@@elainegarcia9941 you can use basic bonsai mix or. Soil mix with 25% compost 25% coconut coir 25% sand and 25% pine barks
Is it better to dry it in the sunlight or in the shade
Just some say the sun is better and some say the shade
What kind of soil is needed to grow this water spinach in? Regular dry or wet??!
Hi brother can you tell my loquat have flower but not fruit can you help me
Did you fertilize with enough potassium and phosphorus? Consistent watering is the key and keep soil moist. Loquat usually flowers during the Fall season and turn into fruits over the winter, what is your climate like? Fruits will die or fall off if under 25 degrees F. I also made a video with more details ruclips.net/video/nKnVud3X2-M/видео.html
Cây ơi nhìn đẹp quá nó tên gì vậy chị ?
I can't hear a damn thing with the background music. Is the music even necessary!???
Hiw about oruning out a tgurd of grape clysters along tge whole bunch?
Yes do that too.
Thank you for your useful video. I will move to LV next year, I have 4 Atemoya ( mẵng cầu)trees and 1 Longan in pots. Do you think mẵng cầu able to grow in LV? Hope Your Longan trees are growing good
My 2 Longans are growing well and continue to produce fruits. Atemoya actually do better in Vegas than Sugar Apple. I have 1 sugar apple and will be planning to buy Geffner Atemoya soon. They will need to be protected in the winter for first few years. Looking forward for another tropical grower to Las Vegas. Connect me on Instagram: GreenMangoesLV if you need helps.
Thank you I am so sorry. I don’t have and don’t use Instagram. Magnolia’s nursery in LA have lot of Gefner if you would like check it out.
@@QuynhNguyen-wk8vu I will make more videos. I was in Riverside and Orange County last weekend but forgot to visit the nursery
This is great! I will try this on my small lychee tree.
Good luck
Loan ơi, cho mình hỏi hến bạn mua ở đâu vậy? Có phải ở chợ Việt nam không? Cảm ơn Loan.
Wednesday, 5/30/24 8:08am. I raised, trimmed my desert roses 5/15/24 . Left in house for a week, then brought outside , watered. They do not look the best. Advise please?
Did you trim the root as well, were there any leaves left on the plant?
That’s a great idea
Thank you
Thanks.
You're welcome
Not advisable because, The Wooden support will get destroyed due to the rain and mist!
It's treated wood
Sooo juicy! I love Dragon Fruits! Especially homegrown!❤
♥️
Thanks. First time I heard that you should cut off the flesh around the woody center where the stem touches the growing media. I see that occurring naturally on several of mine. The bottom rotted away 1-2 inches from the bottom, but the hard core was still in the media and the plant remained healthy. On a couple of them (mostly the yellow pitayas) however, it looks like the rot has worked its way up the plant and will eventually kill it.
For the most part, it would be okay. However like you said there is always a risk of the rot worked its way up and worse when it gets diseases.
Zero-hour club!! Hope you're doing well!
All well bro. Thank you. What is zero hour club?
@@GreenMangoes It's like people who watch a video within the first hour it's uploaded :)
@@matthewhistand9104 lol got it. Hope you're doing good.
Unfortunately although they are easily hardy here in the UK, our very long wet, cool winters normally ruin both the flowers and the embryo fruits 😥
Can you at least go out there in winter night and make a firepit to keep them warm?
Thank you for this real advice. I feel very positive to start now. God bless you 🙏 ☺️
You're welcome
Dip
Lol
Have a favorite loquat varity? What have you tried and liked? I have a Christmas and a Big Jim.
I tried Big Jim. My favorite so far would be Gold Nugget.
Oh, I am in Georgia, USA
You should still able to grow loquats
@@GreenMangoes I will try to fertilize and see if it flowers early.
@andyg6981 good luck, I hope it will work.
I have one I got from our honey bee keeping club president, as a cutting in 2012. It is about 10 feet tall, it blooms every year in late Fall, and the honeybees love it. It has had fruit on it, but they never make it, we get a frost and it kills them. I knew them from growing up in Florida, people had them in their yard, and we would pick up fruits that was on, or around the sidewalk, loved them.
Have you tried fertilizing with Bone Meal or fertilizer with high phosphorus like Scott Super Bloom in mid summer to late summer and help inducr flowering early. That way the flowers and fruits can make it before frost. And when you have anad frost, throw cover on top.
@@GreenMangoes I don't have a way I could get to the top to cover, and it's so large I couldn't cover it all. I wish I could show you a photo
I’m in St George Utah which is also growing zone 8 but slightly higher up in elevation , do you think they would grow and produce fruit here?
I believe you guys get some snow in St George right?
@@GreenMangoesIt’s rare here but recently it’s been happening more. The lowest is usually around 20 degrees during Dec or Jan.
@@youbikewithatube I would encourage you to grow Loquats then, you shouldn't have any problem. It takes a few years for fruits to taste better.
@@GreenMangoes I’m gonna give it a shot! The fruit is what I would be looking for. I have seen some mature loquat trees around some church buildings here but never any fruit on them which left me wondering if it was a non fruiting type.
@youbikewithatube funny you mentioned that because I have a friend who has 2 loquats, 1 bear fruit and the other one never did. People in Vegas are growing loquats all over the valley with fruits, except that one I know of. Could it be a male?
I love Loquats!❤

Wow, how old is that apricot tree?
I would say 7 to 8 years
How is the tree,I’m in California,I bought one today!
wonderful video I truly have learned something. I presently am trying to grow such a tree for the first time, Thanks for the useful input.
Thanks for watching.
Is soil acidified same as your soil sulfur? I got soil acidifies by epsoma on Amazon
Pretty much the same, sulfur power or granules takes about 6 months to lower pH. Liquid form will act much faster.
I also use soil acidifiers
Thank you
