David Bowie - Queen Bitch from The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou end credits
My favourite Bowie moment, courtesy of Wes Anderson.

In interviews Peter Weller said that he based Buckaroo Banzai on Jacques Cousteau and Adam Ant. I guess the homage brings it full circle.
I get the weird feeling that Bill Murray is only happy when hes working on a Wes Anderson movie and that Wilem Defoe is happy every single minute of every day .
BUCKAROO BANZAI got there first, Wes.
Ned smoking a pipe in the crows nest never died jeje
i had to come here to watch it properly because the streaming service its on minimizes it by force when the credits roll to advertise another film... loved this movie 🥰 don't get people who say wes anderson movies are emotionless i thought this was beautiful
One guy's hat isn't a hat.
and this how everyone discovered that wes anderson is a buckaroo banzai fan
Anyone else really like that Intern got to join the crew?
Yeah! His name was Nico I think
What a damned good reference this movie made with this ending. I forgot all about this. Legit, Im smiling now lol.
Jeff Goldbulm appears out of nowhere 😂
The critics hated this.
I haven't seen this movie in more than a decade and this remains one of my favorite movie endings.
If someone could upload a version of this scene that has Ocean Man in the background, I would be impressed.
Took me 15 years to notice that Ned is up on the lookout in the last shot.
This is the movie that quite literally made me become a Wes Anderson fan. After watching this, I saw his other films and from Fantastic Mr Fox and on, I have seen every Anderson movie in theaters. Looking forward to checking out his newest film 🙂
Best movie montage EVER
This scene is so great!
Awesome ending, but why crop the video 😥
music in film should act as a complementary music video & be worked in organically. anderson & kubrick for example. so many forced songs in movies having nothing to do with the substance on screen. don't get me started on overused songs in film.
This riff is stolen from Eddie Cochran. Song is Three Steps to Heaven.
Wonder what this scene would look like if wes used the buckaroo banzai theme while they were walking to the boat? Probably feel way different huh
1:13 best crew credit in the whole film
Que gran película 🙌🎬⛴
Excellent on every level. 👌
This ending makes me feel that the point of this movie is that life goes on as long as you remember those who came before
It’s a reference to the ending of Buckaroo Banzai.
@@reidboggs4344 Buckaroo Banzai also had a dead character show up in it credit sequence and the point of THAT was ALSO that life goes on as long as you remember those who came before.
It could've been me
Just like Buckaroo Banzai. Damn. So good.
One of the best ending ever
So fucking great
Masterpiece ending and movie
I just realized how much the song “mr brightside” bites it’s tempo and rhythm from “queen bitch”.
So many little details of comedy: an “oceanographer” casually flicking his cigarette butt into the ocean.
There’s also a bit of symbolism in the bit too: he is pretty good at what he does, but also has a little resentment because of the trauma he experienced, and has kind of passed it all along to his crew, who sticks with him since they know it all might be worth it for the sake of exploration...
Meeeeeeeezrdeeéeéeé Definitely the best cadeau ending those dayseźzzzz Mine de rien Murray Bill at his best always 😁😄🙏😇🥰🥰🥰😘😘😘
Otherwise is Georges Abitbol, 🤗😚😚😚🙃😘😘😘😘😘😘
And i FUCKING LOVE ITTTTTTÞT2 😄😄🤩🤩🤩🙏😇🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤗😙😋😉
Great movie. Seu Jorgé rocks.
loved this movie, it perfectly split the difference between Bill Murray always wanting to be a serious actor, and his greatest talent being comedy.
Not gonna lie I would watch an entire series of movies about this crew just going on crazy adventures out into the ocean
For the rest of my goddamn life
Me too.
I actually just had a dream about this and young Steve was played by Jude Law, lol. His voice was just like Bill's in the dream, but I'm not sure if Law could pull it off in real life. Holland was Klaus. Not sure if that's going to work.
I love how the bond stooge is one of the proudest members of Team Zissou
Teamsmanship.
Damn, i put that outro again and and and again, cause could be one the best ever indeeed😁😁😁😁🤘💕🤩🦮🐒🦦🦉🐠🐌🐳🐬🐨🐵💢💥💯🤍🖤🧡💛💚❤💜🤎🙈🙉🙊💖💖💖😽😽😽☠😎🥳💋🤝👍👍👍👍👀🙋🏻♂️👩🎨💇🏻♀️🏃♂️👨🦽🧙♀️🤸♂️🤩😄
When you understand he just put togethers one of the bests ever melancholic lovely peoples, And Henry Selick for the "FX"🤩🤘🏼😍🤘🏼🤗🥰💯💙💕❤❤❤❤❤❤
Outstanding ending. Thank you for the video. Have a great day.
Love the minute when Eleanor (Anjelica Huston) appears, is definitely pure magic 😍
That was love 😊😊😊
Steve graciously waving her in and she leaps into the crowd so joyously. 👏😘😎
Well, she was always the brains of the operation.
Wonderful ode to Buckaroo Banzai.
If buckaroo banzai end credits married the epilogue of The Damned United, this would be their child
I would say that that ship needs to make harbor in Charleston to support the Muddogs.
Rock songs can do a lot...but then they can also only do so so much! :-)xxxxxx
Anyone have this version of Queen Bitch but with no vocals?
Favorite ending to my favorite movie
The best homage to Buckaroo Banzai you can get
which also starred Jeff Goldblum...
I have to believe the main reason Wes Anderson hired Goldblume to be in this movie was so he could do this scene as a sendup to Buckaroo Banzai. If that is the case the man is ten different layers of brilliant.
That's why he did and he was going exactly for that.
Any reason they never made a sequel?
@@jeremysears4263 To this movie Wes doesn't do sequels. All of his movies are compartmentalized stories. If you're asking why Buckaroo Banzai never got on, poor advertising and the fact that it bombed at the box office, to be fair it did go up against Star Trek 3 when it premiered
@@dannytheman1313 Banzai is one of my favorite movies, apparently there were some novels written, the presence of JG, in the hero walk is awesome, but still fails to answer the question about the 🍉...
@@donaldcampbell3043 I think that was the point when they say I'll tell you later there was never a later.
this is like a 70s anime ending
I love wes up to Grand Budapest hotel.
