@@Realtorhariom did you check wires on batteries if anything loose? TSC and hill assist comes when any ABS fault is present. It could be something else. Hard to tell like that.

@@CheetahRepairServices so I just went to my mechanic today. My cascadia 18 is at 948k miles and he suggests that there is no need to replace the quantity valve as of right now. He says it doesn’t affect the performance of the truck and since my truck is pretty high on mileage, he tells me just wait till the truck throws codes to replace the fuel pump. And when replacing the fuel pump, it comes with a new quantity valve. What’s your take on that? Need a second opinion

I'm not sure why your mechanic is saying that. To be honest, it seems very strange to me. It does affect performance. First of all, it leads to poor fuel economy, starting issues later on, and overall, there’s nothing good about it. With his logic, there’s no need to fix anything at all and just wait until the engine falls apart.

It's hard to tell. It could be the transmission itself. Proper diagnostics are needed to figure it out.

After bypass? Could be air leak or air tank is clogged inside. Or blockage in air lines.

From freightliner dealer OEM $900+. You don’t have to drain fuel. A little bit will come out when you remove fuel lines but not much.

What you mean? Sockets(I don’t remember sizes) and impact gun. Screwdriver with flat head.

There is a loose connection between the wires in that plug, which is why it’s getting hot and shorting.

Broaden the pins and/or connectors like the other guy in the comments mentioned.

No. If it’s leaking, you should cut airline a little bit and put it in the same fitting. If still leaking, you have to replace air fitting.

It’ll go all the way up, but don’t worry. Nothing will happen. You can safely drive it to the shop. It happens because you also bypassing air governor on the dryer.

Bypass is meant to be a temp "fix" to correct the problem replace the dryer. It should come with filter and governor. Most gov are not adjustable.

If you’re not connected to a trailer you can release air by pressing the trailer brake in or keep tapping the brakes here and there. I’ve had to do this in the past.

Use Monkey wrench on another side to hold it. Need two people for that

Like I mentioned before it doesn’t work for everybody. New update on trucks doesn’t let you do it anymore. But for some trucks it still works.

When you buy new one, it should have instructions. Some of them are different so I can’t tell you for sure.
