As a result of the burning and irritation of my genital area(I'm female by the way) when it comes in contact with water I stopped using water in the area also it would make it really dry and itchy and would get more cuts and irritation So what I did instead was use cotton none scented and chemical free wipes for daily use like the Huggies wipes If you don't have wipes you could use a cotton ,smooth and lint free Rag or cloth, wet it and make it damp with some water and use it to clean the area DO NOT wipe or rub ONLY DAB the area Do it GENTLY & LIGHTLY And slowly clean the area even when using the wipes No chemicals or products are to be used in the area Use perfectly fitted breathable cotton underwear And try NOT TO ITCH OR SCRATCH as best as possible or NOT AT ALL....Dab the area with a wipe or damp cotton rag or cloth to reduce irritation This would slowly and gradually lessen or better the condition

As an ayurvedic physician Planet Ayurveda's medicinal pack is what something I always recommend to curb Psoriasis - Navkarshik Churna, Radiant Skin Hair and Nails Formula, Neem, Manjistha Capsules and Pitta Balance. These herbs will remove toxins out of the body and which will further correct the metabolism and strengthen the immune system.

What about testicle psoriasis?? I’m 28 years old. And every single day of my life since I was 12 years old I have had the worst itch on my testicles. I was born with only 1 testicle. Just fyi. I have seen multiple dermatologists and they have said it’s jock itch. Or yeast infection. None of the treatment has worked. It itches so bad every night, mostly only when I’m sitting or laying and relaxing. It itches even more after a shower. And they get very dry and flaky. When I tell you they itch. I mean. I have to keep random objects next to my bed at night because my nails aren’t enough. I have used knives, I have used bricks on a fireplace. The most recent thing I do is I have a hard bristle brush for a drill attachment and I put that in my drill and just full power drill brush my testicles at night. Pain doesn’t even matter anymore. I’m used to it. The itch is worse. Nothing has ever relieved the itch. I have had 2 minor surgeries to remove 2 large Sebaceous cyst that have formed on my testicles. Idk what to do at this point. I cry at the thought of being free from the itch.

1º: Dupixent does NOT cure eczema. It will help the immune response aggravate by the topical steroid abuse over months or years. 2º: the only way to cure your eczema is knowing your triggers and avoid them. Dupixent is an amazing drug but ee have to keep those two things in mind.

My main trigger for eczema is dustmites and pollen/grass. These stuff is hard to avoid and quite frankly I don't want to have to be on edge all the time. So dupixent it is.

I tried applying medicated cream, taking allergy tablets and zyrtec but the flare wouldn't go away. At this point I had last taken the dupixent injection 6 weeks ago so I took it again this monday. Within 24 hours, the eczema had deflared on the back of my neck and lower back, and within 48 hours, it had deflared everywhere else. When I say deflared I mean that I can't see it or feel it anymore. So yeah that's where I am with it rn.

Those who adopted the carnivore diet say that it cleared their skin conditions as well as many other debilitating chronic conditions. I'm looking for something other than carnivore as I don't like meat and I would have to eat it with a lot of fat which makes me gag. Apparently a plant based diet is the worst. Those who have read a lot of research into this say that our digestive system is not designed to absorb the vital nutrients properly nor eliminate the toxic substances present in plants. It is also said that soy, on which many vegans depend, needs to be fermented to be fit for human consumption, something that is never mentioned when soy as a replacement for meat is recommended. They also say that a plant based diet is so lacking in nutrients that those on it need to take numerous supplements which are found in real human food, ie meat and fish.

Dupixent in very expensive. As a Tier 5 Biologicals, the cost of 2 pens of Dupi (300 mg each) costs $3200 for the Medicare and patient is expected to pay 1/3 of this per MONTH. This is useful to about 30% of the patient population. Not more! So, anyone after paying an arm and a leg cost has only 30% probability that this Medication/Biologic will be useful. You may most probably may not get any benefit. Even if you get a cure, you NEED to use it for life, otherwise eczema will come back and hit you more vigorously again. You feel you got trapped in this ultra costly Biologics!!! Beware! Explore first a very cheap UVB TL01 narrowband light treatment for about 3 months BEFORE spending enormous money on Dupixent (a monoclonal antibody against the major subunit of IL 4 and IL 13 Receptors).

Dr. Jennifer, I'm 86 years old, Singaporean Chinese, I don't smoke and drink, don't medications of any kind even panadol, don't take sugar or frutose. As an active sportsman and weight training, I take creatine and whey protein powder in addition to my protein from diet. In 2020, I fell down and suffered muscle atrophy on my right arm in particular my big bicep. Subsequently, I suffered what they called it plaque psoriasis on my elbows which a derm doctor said is caused by nerve problem and autoimmune disease. I was prescribed a tube of cream. Before I applied the cream at home, I checked and read the ingredients of the cream. I was shocked to find the cream has steroid in it. I threw the cream away. I went to a Chinese Medical Shop and an elderly Chinese physician took a look at my elbows and ankles and suggested to use Nixoderm ointment and a packet of herbal tea to boil and drink which is anti-inflammation. Twice a day, morning and evening, for seven days as directed, I applied the Nixoderm ointment on the two elbows and the psoriasis were gone. Hardly, a year later the psoriasis appeared on my two ankles and to this day it is still there. I bought the Nixoderm ointment and applied it on the ankles and though it is not completely healed the ointment has kept the stubborn psoriasis from spreading. Having said that, Dr. Jennifer, I am taking whey protein powder and creatine daily in addition to my diet which is not sufficient at all with vitamins. So in your opinion, whey and creatine protein powder is not a problem.
