If someone is really using fingertip grip, then the side buttons should be moved to the front. With a fingertip grip, only the index finger and ring finger are ever free to press a button. In fact, they are more free to move around. It's a shame that the industry still doesn't understand the ergonomics of fingertip grip.

I've been using an old icemat glass pad I got in 2005 and it's still great to this day. Seeing how it's almost 20 years old I'm thinking of getting one of these and retire my old pad.

Another solution what is worked for me, is when you put the dongle to further from the motherboard, even the front panel solved the problem for me.,

Did the firmware update Razer release to address this not resolve the skipping? I'm thinking of getting this mouse soon but don't want to run into issues.

This pointed me in the right direction, i ended up having to switch the mouse to bluetooth mode and pairing that way.
