bro my son is 8 years old and he is into skating and currently on inline skates . so here I have few queries. 1) will his current skill set would help him to get better in skateboarding , he is basically very much fond of both the art form and want to excel into the both? 2) what would be the best suited dimensions for the skateboard for him to start with?

Okay for each question I'll answer seperately 1- he will have a good core balance so he will get used to the change of momentum.. by this I mean when he skates inline his body goes straight.. when he skateboards he will be moving sideways.. but it wouldn't be difficult for him 2. If he is 8 look out for 7.25 or 7.5 inch skateboard. It would be ideal. If you want to pick up easily and have one strong and durable.. go for decathlon.. it's affordable + durable.

@@domo1286 hey man... I use an 8" skateboard.. for someone who is starting new. Affordable and durable .. probably a really good first skateboard... Once worn out.. you'll be able to decide your own choice of deck. I prefer bones bearings .. really good quality but quite pricey.. I was supposed to test BR500 from decathlon but haven't been able to try .. once I recover.. I'll be able to help with the same
