One of the things I think this game did best above all the other great stuff is the voice acting for npcs when they fall to the ground wounded. I still vividly remember the basic soldiers crying out, especially the ones in Damascus/Jerusalem.

Aside from the AC1 "Chase" theme, Damascus fight tune is the only one that remained stuck in my head all these years since the first game's release. You'd literally initiate random fights with guards just for a chance to hear it! Acre fight tune is good too, but no other AC combat theme I heard holds a candle to this one. Altair FTW 🔥🔥
